I am proud to present the project I have been working on all winter: a 2001 Kawasaki KX250. I bought this bike in pieces with a hole in the crankcase last October. I knew I was about to miss another winter due to yet another shoulder surgery, and needed something to keep me occupied during recovery. Oftentimes I just get bikes running again and then sell them, but this was one different. I set out to build the nicest, sickest, cleanest KX250 I possible could.
Hundreds of hours went into this project and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I would like to thank the amazing companies who supported this build, making it possible for me to build a bike of this caliber. She's pretty damn fresh for a 20 year old dirtbike. Links to each company can be found below. Leave me a comment with any thoughts or questions - I'm pretty good at responding! Thanks for watching.

Nice job Kincade. Great bike to restore as well, I raced this model back in 2000, they were a very quick reliable bike and easy to maintain.
What a masterpiece!
Holy heck she runs smooth at the end :O
dude, I have a deep respect for such drive, great job man, that's a big project and it looks like it paid off.
So epic! Great work and attention to detail! Loved watching it come together. Thank you.
dude you absolutely nailed it
I currently have my 98 rm250 I'm rebuilding. Police found it after being stolen 14 years ago. Its came back missing almost everything I have frame wheels forks and half a motor. But pleased to have it back.

That's so cool! I still have never built a Suzuki 2 stroke and I want to find one!
Glad to see this bike being restored.. I have this very same year of bike which I ride every summer with my riding friends which all all have the fourstrokes , 250s and 450s, I keep up and outride some on this bike. I'm pushing 60 years old and feel like a child when I ride..love the video and long live two strokes.
That.. That looks spectacular! Much love from Australia

Awesome work. I applauded your commitment. I know how frustrating it can be just to keep up with Maintanince on a bike I can just imagine a whole build. The good thing about it is you know it’s all new parts. It’s just remembering what Oder to go in.
Simply .. wonderful 💪
She's now PRICELESS, what a BEAST 💪❤️🇬🇧
The KX250 is one of my all time favorite bikes 😀..awesome job on this bike 😍😊😀
Фантастика 👏 Даже не представляю как можно это всё сделать, супер 👍

You did a great job. I like the attention to detail you did on this. I enjoyed watching it. I’m restoring a LT250R right now.
Awesome effort! best I have done is an engine rebuild, a full rebuild like this would take a massive effort!! Top Job!
I just found one of these bikes in pretty good condition.. I looked at it yesterday and this video inspired me to buy it.. I’m going to pick it up this weekend for 1900 bucks, seems like a steal.. new top end and everything

Right? Such a cool concept. I didn't have a blind bearing puller small enough on a project a while back, and was hunting for one at the auto parts store. A guy working there told me about the bread method, and I've now used it many times!
years ago we did 2 kdx bike frames hot pink with green plastics it looked sick

Pretty sweet man I had a KX 250 back in 95 and I sold it back then for $600 I only paid $600 for it when I bought it and road it for 4 years that bike was still ripping it up only thing was I lost the exhaust but I kept riding it the thing was crazy loud you Could hear it from a mile away I would like to do exactly what you just have completed problem is I don’t have a shop and you really need one to do what your doing

It all depends on surface prep, the materials used, the maintenance provided and the abuse the paint is exposed to, not so much the application method, done properly. I expect the rebuilder used a high quality paint that will last many years.
