You do not know how much you miss seeing peter and his tutorials until you see it again. The reason I started my career. Thank you man!!
This is the Peter McKinnon content that first hooked me years ago. Feels like a throwback. Very nostalgic.
Is anyone else mesmerised by the set up? The lighting, the glare from the window, the image detail and sharpness, the lights beaming down on the objects on the shelf, the light on the picture frame. So much attention to detail has been put into this clip, I don't think you can appreciate it enough. Can't wait for the new studio tour!!!!

Nah. Skins tones and colors just seem off. The contrast looks pull off by too much. It's a nice room because of the brick, but in terms of this video, it looks off.

This thumbnail just take me back to the good ol days, great video!
Pro tip. Use lumnosity masking to set amount of grain depend of amount of light in the photo. Darker parts should be more grainy than highlights.

Hi Pete, have missed "You"! Thanks so much for the tut and inspo. ❤
Gonna use this and start blending that rich tonality of digital and the rugged imperfections of film. Great insight Peter!

Summer Banger 🔥🔥🔥

So Cool Man !! (also very instructive ..). Thkz.
Love this stuff man! Miss these two minute tutorials
finally😍😍
Fro knows the king! I've learn so much with him. Great guy!
After all these years a two minute Tuesday (or Thursday lol) vid puts the fattest smile on my face - this was a dope one Pete! I just bought a Fuji x-s20 to try and get some clean film looking pics, maybe I should have waited to buy the new v5 presets instead haha
He’s back!!! With a banger!!! 👊🏼
The two minute Tuesday intro!!!!!! It's back baby!!!! 😍
Really Appreciate thes tutorials pete❤
Damn it, Pete, you’ve done it again!
the moment he uploaded something educational, that I used to watch when I got my first camera. I couldn't stop myself to click the video and watch all of it !! It's good to be back again :) !!
I’m trying shoot more retro these days, so this video was just what I needed. Thanks for sharing.
You should 100,000% come to Philly and ride bikes with all of us lmao
THANK YOU FOR THE TIPS PETER!
I have really missed this kind of videos!
Amazing 🎉
Please go hang out with Fro! I love you both so much. You've been so helpful in getting me started. Thank you both!
Welcome back king
Vintage Pete. I feel nostalgic 🥹
Great technique! Used for separating a subject from a field of flowers and it turned out so nice.
"In two years, we will snap our fingers and a video will be made." Sounds like the first episode of the new season of Black Mirror
I appreciate this Pro-Mist look on this video :D
Ohhhh man, you have no idea how much this Two Minute Tue... Thursday made my day!!!
I like the new look studio!

Would lover to see it!
Just the intro alone, is worth watching, let alone the rest, which is the icing on the cake.
More photography videos like this please.
Love all of your videos! I've taken up photography as a hobby and I am learning so much from you and other photographers. Photography is an expensive hobby and I bought what I afford when I started. I am rocking the Nikon D70 and it can take some brilliant photos but I can see where 6MP has it limitations. It would be great to see a video about the pros and cons of DSLR's from 5, 10, or 15 years ago and when it might be time to upgrade! Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
I do love the two minute Tuesdays even if it is on Thursday. And I love my little Fujifilm X-E4 and their Fuji film simulations.
Peter and Jared would be DOPE AF! Wild childs!
I would also recommend adding more Luminance to Midtones, and if you want a bit less grainy look, you can take off a bit of Texture instead of pushing grain that high🙂 Btw awesome film shots from F1🔥

Can I make the same changes in lightroom 3?
Oh yeah, that’s a great looking hat
Ive been trying to get a similar filmic look with my photography and have gotten pretty close but this video is extremely helpful for this
Love it...😂 time is relative in Pete world...😂
Love the Intro, have to keep playing it lol
pete successfully blending the worlds of digital and film!
More of this. Good!
Great tip! I love the masking tools in Lightroom these days. They have become so incredible. I barely use global adjustments anymore. Basic adjustments and then mask everything lol.

Im still on Lightroom CC and had no idea it had functions like this now. Ive been making those masks manually for years 🫠
Love the reference to Jared Polin hahahahaha
whole grain goodness 🥰📷
Peter! That was two minutes very well spent!
Great take! I also “haze” when the skin is looking too crunchy or saturated and that helps a lot 🎉
i was waitin for the color grading now to see how vintage it will come out
Ok, that's sick.
Wow that's crazy! I didn't think the re-haze feature would actually make it seem so film-like but it did wonders for the photo!
I feel like it has been awhile since we have had one of these two minute tuesdays (sorry thursday) so appreciate bringing it back.
