@Leon Wilcox Why does the United States government sell millions of tons of coal to China and India each year? You know the same government that preaches the dangers of burning coal. While President Obama was going coast to coast preaching climate change and the evils of burning coal his administration was selling hundreds of millions of tons of American coal to China and Russia. During his administration China and India built 200 brand new coal power plants. Personally I saw 2 coal trains pass through here on their way to the Texas coast where they will load the coal onto ships to send overseas all with the approval and permission of the United States Government. ?

If there's an argument to choose solar over wind, this video captures it. Converting wind energy into electrical power is incredibly labor & resource intensive, requires many moving parts with associated maintenance, and is extremely complicated. Compare to solar: install panels, wire inverters & batteries, wash panels once or twice a year, replace in 20 years or so. Nevertheless, it was a fascinating video! Thanks!

@Leon Wilcox I can say the same about you. Only I have no reason to "regurgitate" lies. Turbines are 100% made from iron ore, aluminum, copper, plastic, rubber etc which is all created by fossil fuels. That's a fact. They have a 25 year life span and where I'm from we have tons of them everywhere...but...they account for less than 2% of our entire electrical grids capacity at any given time. I'm in Ontario Canada and we have superior electrical knowledge as we supply 1/2 of the electricity our American neighbors enjoy and I can tell you that nuclear power and hydro electric power is what you use to supply power. Not shitty wind turbines that poison aquafers, create noise pollution as well as waste tax payers money on get rich quick skeems like "green energy". It's ok. The juice will wear off in about 20 years when all these turbines die out and nuclear/hydro is still going strong.

You have to ask how much energy was used in the making and erecting of these and how long it will take to pay back , not just in the financial cost, but also in regard to carbon footprint. Also, if it isn't windy, these things are woefully inefficient...and a blight on the landscape.

For example, souther tip of India enjoy both East, west wind with oceans on 3 direction s. Is Suzlon failure because of energy orientation rather than wind orientation? There should be consistent progressive. Govt , policy for sustaining with correct feasibility reports. 👍 For sharing. from India.

But hardly the diesel fuel used by the trucks to put them up. After all I am guessing you don't really give a crap about the diesel fuel being burned up by everyone else.

Yep saves when working. Go ask Texas how reliable wind was. Wind power is not gonna eliminate fossil fuel it needs it to exist.

@Leon Wilcox so does your house and car. I bet your not eliminating anything in your life involving fossil fuels. Actually it was our current governments incompetence that caused the problems in Texas by not allowing steps to be taken to ease the situation. Like you said colder places have wind power and it works. I'm in the NE snowbelt and our power plants never froze. Clearly it was bad decisions at the higher levels that was at fault, other areas have the knowledge to avoid the problems. Fossil fuels won't be going away.
