You can use an air compressor gun to remove grips, by sliding the air gun nozzle underneath the gap between the bars and grips, and blowing air in between them. This even works for grips which have been hair-sprayed on :)

Congrats! What was once a dirty, cheap, worn out bike is now a fresh painted, cheap, worn out bike. I miss the part where the fork, drive train and the bottom bracket get a proper service.

Nice restoration work. Isn't it a bit dodgy making out it's a Fuji, with Rock Shox forks though, when it blatantly wasn't when it started? To a buyer who doesn't know better, they'd think they were getting something of a lot higher quality than the bike actually is - like putting Nukeproof and Fox stickers all over a supermarket bike to fool others it's worth more.

@@SeanMather fair enough if he's keeping it, but then I can't see someone keeping all the bikes they've restored on a channel. It'd only really fool people who have a passing interest anyone, those in the know would spot they're not Fox forks a mile away, and those not in the know wouldn't even know Fox is a top brand. All just seems odd. Just paint the bike, decals shouldn't matter for a video purpose, so make them custom.

It actually is a 2015 Fuji Nevada Frame. Some companies share frames and components across other brand names

Due to the restrictions of the country in which I live, I cannot buy parts from related websites and I am limited in purchasing and only buy from bicycle parts stores in my city.

Why didn't the lower bracket be removed?

Interesting to watch someone go through all that trouble and not upgrade any of the crappy components. The good ole craigslist rebuild. But honestly, all that time on a 20 dollar derailleur? why? Could have upgraded to a Deore for like 30 bucks and spent 0 time and effort.

This is the opinion of all those who watch my videos Due to the restrictions in the country where I live, I cannot use expensive bicycle parts or these parts do not exist at all. For example, a 30-dollar piece is sold for 100 dollars in my country, and I cannot afford it. I also like the effort and time I spend on repairing bikes, turning those bikes from a cheap bike to an expensive bike.

Seat post is on backwards, quick release is on wrong side. Get rid of the kick stand. Other than that, looks great.
