Hello Siva kumar , From April 2019 onwards, if the interest on FD is more than ₹40,000, then PAN users would be liable to pay 10% as tax and non-PAN users would pay 20% tax on interest earned. This interest would be deducted as TDS (tax deducted at source) at the time of credit of annual interest. The upper limit of ₹40,000 is not applicable on aggregate earnings but is for individual FDs.

If you choose a new tax regime you no need to pay tax till 699999 balance 50k need to pay 5% tax it will come around 2500 rupees

7.5 lakhs if salary income 50000 Std deduction 87 A. For remaining 7 Lakhs no tax. If not salary, total tax will be Rs. 27500/-(upto 7 L Rs. 25000/- and for 50000 5% 2500)
