In the heart of Southeast Asia, amidst the looming shadows of civil unrest, a man of intellect and eloquence, Harrison MacWhite, steps onto the stage of international diplomacy. Quite an interesting movie with Marlin Brando as the main actor in it.
I adored Marlon Brando just the way I do Robert DeNiro. They are unforgettable .
Believe it's "The Ugly American". A very influential book. What happens when we try to "help" without understanding the consequences. The book is much better than the movie.

From my experiences the books are always better than the movies.
With the first move, they started destroying evidence. Fingerprints on the bottle.

Why do you all have to ruin the end of the movie by putting your movie suggestions on the credits, learn how to upload your the movie and respect those who were in. Your not a movie producer so when you get a big movie company you can do whatever you want at the end of the movie. Show some RESPECT

Good film but I think Marlon Brando was mis-cast in this role. That squeaky soprano voice of his is not believable in a commanding position. Needs a more commanding baritone for the solliquies.This role I think would have been perfect for actor John Dehner.
