The thing about musicals, espesecially In the Heights, is that they take a life of their own. I'll always remember and sing the songs in this musical. And if the movie isn't made when im out of college, I'll direct it. Thanks, for the wonderful performance, both on and off stage.

Saw it with lin-manuel and the rest of the obc a few months after it opened, and i gotta say that it was one of the best theater experiences ever. :)

I've never seen this show, but know every word by heart. I had no money to travel from europe to New York and I'm very sad that I didn't had the chance to see the show :( I'm inspired by you Lin-Manual, my heart just lights up when I see how much this all mean to you. I always say In the Heights is the ''Rent''' of this new generation. The love just flows trough the story. And I hope some day just like you my dreams will come out on Broadway, and I will tell you this story personally! Love!

In a Broadway dominated by big theatrical presentations that cost millions of dollars to make, In the Heights was a breath of fresh air, a simple yet moving musical about love, home, and family. Can't believe I missed it. Probably one of the best musicals ever.

I am going to truly miss this show. It gave me and so many other Latino kids who want to be on the Broadway stage hope that we can make it someday. A beautiful show that I never got to see live. Oh... if only I could count the number of times I've mowed my lawn listening to this soundtrack. I just heard it earlier today. In The Heights is a show who's score and message provides an emotional connection that is unparalleled.

Such an amazing show. I went into the theater not really knowing what to expect and I came out absolutely loving it. My one regret was not being able to stay after and meet the cast at the stage door.

Funny, I stumbled to your wedding video and found the "In the Heights guys". Then I found this video. Christmas 2010 my first visit to NYC, I wanted to see a Broadway show that captured New York's spirit or had a NYC pulse. Was recommended "In the Heights" and LOVED IT. Had my video camera and I wanted to capture the final song, to bring home to Canada, but was afraid to turn it on. Now I have this. Come visit us in Toronto. Love your creative spirit and raw energy. USNAVI - too funny.

I saw the show on tour. Wish I could have seen it on Broadway. That show changed my life. So beautiful and amazing. Loved it before I saw it, fell completely, dazzlingly in love with it when I saw the strength, the love, the passion, and the power that this show invokes and embodies. The show may be closing, but the feeling, the love, the legacy it has left behind will never fade. It's home. :')

I wish I was there to see the final show, as I was there to see it when it first opened, but seeing I am not able to I wish the cast and crew of one of the best shows to play on Broadway in a long time a heartfelt farewell and to 'break a leg' in all and future endeavors. To me 'In the Heights', along with 'Rent', will always hold a special place in my heart and will be the shows I think of when I think of NYC and the Great White Way.

This play is such an amazing play. It reminds me so much of my Spanish family and to see all of the actors putting so much of themselves into it is very comforting. Goodbye In The Heights your had a very good run and I hope to see you again.

In the Heights is definitely my absolute favourite musical, and always will be. I was never much for musicals, so when I went to NY for a school trip and found out we were watching this, I admit I was skeptical (plus Corbin Bleu was playing Usnavi when we went). I ended up spending some of the little bit of spending money I had left to buy the CD and listened to it nonstop my entire summer. I'll count myself as one of the people stuck on that magnet for sure!

I saw Heights on March 13, 2008. I walked into the theater with absolutely no expectations and really no idea what I was about to experience. I remember the lights coming up for intermission and being glued to my seat, absolutely speechless & inspired. After the show (of course I sobbed) I had the opportunity to meet LMM. I don't remember what was said - I may not have said anything, honestly - but I hope he knows how much his little show has changed the world. No pare, sigue, sigue indeed.

Awww! Today's the one-year anniversary which is really sad, but watching this video makes me happy, and you can't have it without the closing. So emotionally conflicted. ") I didn't get to see the show on Broadway, but I had the album, and so knew and loved the music, and saw the show on tour. It was awesome!! :)

I fell in love with this show two years ago and I finally got to see it for my birthday in October. It was by far one of the best shows I've ever seen. And let's not forget about stuff like Heights Cool Musical Too and Legally Brown =) In the Heights means the world to me, and I'm very sad to see such a wonderful show go, but it will live on forever. In The Heights was such an unbelievable show and I'm terribly sad to see it coming to an end so soon. I loved every second of it. It made me laugh. It made me cry. And in the end, I left with the feeling that I'd just seen one of the best shows that I will see in my life. I still believe that, to this day. I hope to see In The Heights back on the stage in a couple years. :)

I can't believe that In The Heights is ending i got to see this show when i went to New York with my high school and i wanted to go back to see it again but i never got the chance to...this show means sooooo much to me because we did a dance to this song in my broadway class and it was the last dance i preformed before my knees gave out.....i just want to say thank you for the wonderful memories, you were by far the best broadway show that i have ever seen

I hated the idea of putting a rap musical on Broadway until I actually listened. You taught me to not judge something without actually looking. You taught me what home is and who makes it a home. Thank you for being amazing. I needed it. Lin Manuel, cast and crew, you guys rocked that house every night!

Should revive In the Heights in Toronto so I can get my entire Drama class hooked on it like I am.

Lin, I wanted to see this off-Broadway. However, I had a girlfriend who lived on 163rd and Ft. Washington who once day in 2005 decided that she wanted to be an EX-gf. After that day, anything Washington Heights related was like kryptonite to me. Didn't want it. Didn't want to deal with it. Well, I got over that long ago, but never took a serious opportunity to see the show. Well, that changed yesterday. I saw the next-to-last matinee. Life-changing experience, and I wish I had seen it sooner. :)

Lin, you truely inspired me. You are what the broadway world likes to call 'a true artist.' its sad to see a show as great as this one close. All day ive been listening to in the heights all day (-: I think we should have usnavi be a girl with my rapping skills lol. but in all seriousness happy closing because this show deserves to live on for years to come.
