Damn I wish she had won the Mercury prize!! I adore your interviewing style Sali, in the same way I love your books. The products anchor a much wider discussion and you and your guests say so much about what it is to be a woman now. When you and Lily mentioned having no academic qualifications I had to smile because both of you are doing far more to progress academic thought into feminism than any PhD could reward you for. Oh how I would love to see you receive an honorary PhD and instead of holding a scroll you hold a bottle of Impulse 👍

i also thought it was just me that the Brow Wiz packaging always snaps on! always the spooly end snaps off before the pencil is finished, so frustrating but i love the pencil shade/texture so keep repurchasing! first world problems i know :-(

So how is she reaching those top shelves? Does she keep a ladder in her bathroom? Bloody hell how clean and tidy it all is, so organised. It’s like a shop! I love lili, she knows she has had a privileged life in many respects and she owns that, but she has been through an awful lot too. Can’t wait to get the book. My best friend adores her and is going through a break up right now so has her new album on repeat because she feels Lily is singing to her. Had to tell her ‘no more Lily!’ When she came over recently. This was a great interview, (part one I mean) but even though she’s naturally blunt and honest, you can see she is probably worried that anything she says could be twisted (not by Salli) by someone and used in some convoluted way against her, some people seem to love tearing her down. One day Salli, my own BFF and you and your girls, Caitlin, Marian and Lilly will somehow meet up and have drinks together! 😂😂😂
