Firstly, were France and Germany getting along before? Secondly, where else have you heard these claims of a disagreement? AfD refute wanting to remigrate German citizens and Le Pen had to dilute her anti-immigration stance before the last election to even stand a chance of winning, she still lost.

Booting out the Afd or leaving the movement seems to be the most likely solution from my french perspective. To me it seems that the Afd is the embodiment of the image the National Rally wants to distance itself from. Lately it has been pouring tons of efforts into looking like a more respectable party that can realistically take control of the government. The RN has taken an increasingly pro Ukraine stance, solidified itself in legislative and local elections and gained support in all social and age backgrounds. The Afd feels like what the RN was in its early days when it was lead by Jean-Marie Le Pen, flirting with Nazi revisionists and holocaust deniers and going from scandal to scandal. Since Marine took the lead of the movement, she has spent years trying to change that image, she evicted her father from the movement, along the problematic profiles, taken in younger people, distanced itself from violent groups, adopted kittens and renamed the movement. That's why the risk of being associated with a party like the Afd would greatly undermine the RN's long term strategy in France. Joining the ECR would also be a bit tricky for the RN, as it would automatically mean being associated with the Reconquest (R!) party which aligned itself with Melloni, which is a younger party that had acted as a sort of lightning rod for racism accusations for the RN in the last presidential elections and has been placed to the right of the RN in the national political chessboard, being more economically liberal, and having a more controversial leader. But that in itself isn't the biggest problem. R! has tried, ever since its creation, on a national level, to push for a union of the rights, with the RN and the Republicans (the old school french main right wing party). That strategy was rejected by the RN because it was in a position of strength with its political momentum and because as explained previously, it dosent want to associate itself with controversial figures, instead trying to be as attractive as possible for every electors, meaning also left leaning ones and abstentionists. Joining the ECR would essentially mean giving in to R! strategy, and also risking entering in an other political conflict with Melloni, (who Marine Le Pen criticized extensively during her European campaign) while also going from a group where the RN could easily take the lead (ID), to a group where the leader (Melloni's group) is already in place.

The inhabitant of Mayotte were consulted during a referendum, the issue of which was whether they wanted to stay French or be granted their independance, their answer was a resounding " oui à la France " meaning they are French at heart and wanted to stay in France. That a supposed allied party explain that Mayotte ought to be returned to the Comorres, while the inhabitants of Mayottes are definitely French citizen ( and they are not white colonists from Europe !), don't you think that might anger just a little a party whose goal is preserving France, all its citizen ( no matter their skin color !) and the integrity of their territory ( oversea territory included, whose inhabitants wants for the most part stay French !) ?

"Then the AfD pushed for remigration advocating for the relocation of german citizens with foreign backgrounds even those with German pass ports." This is definetly false. There was a right wing austrian activist in Germany holding a closed meeting. Among visiters where members of the CDU and members of the AfD. A leftist investigative journalist group called Correctiv then released pictures and supposed statements that they received from the meeting concerning the remigration of "asylumseekers, foreigners and not assimilated german citizens" however the party pushed for non of this. Their stance is that remigration is the lawful return of people with no right for stay to their homeland and they denounce the destinction of german citizens based on migration background. If there are sign for nazism in the party it would be Christian Lüth. He was expelled but his disturbing statements about gasing people were never denied by the party and he was associated with Gauland, the honorary head of the party.

Correction on the claim that the AfD proposed revoking the citizenship of millions of germans with foreign roots and deporting them: That's most definitely not an official policy and whether this was ever really discussed at a meeting/conference that among others some CDU and AfD backbenchers and a few businesspeople attended is still not entirely clear or adjudicated. The party strongly denies this ever making it into the party platform or even being up to debate. France meanwhile (under Macron) actually PASSED a law that would revoke citizenships from criminals and people posing a terror risk... Something that was actually proposed as well by the CDU (I think Carsten Linnemann said it.) And that's something that could facilitate legal grounds for easy deportation. The only people (apart from foreign criminals) the AfD officially says it wants to deport is people who came in illegally (ignoring Dublin rules), claiming asylum all the way in Germany, who, after years of chilling in social systems have not found employment. (And yeah, that could be millions of people at this point, statistics on this are unclear and obscured for a reason in Germany.) Which is also not that spectacular if you look at Denmark. Sweden even requires that migrants must earn at least 80% of the average salary if they want to stay. This point or notion was most likely pushed this hard because the AfD polled at over 20% in Germany and because the rest of the party landscape needed a good scandal in the face of some very important elections. Don't get me wrong. The meeting/conference was definitely unsavory. And there were definitely some unsavory characters among the participants. An employee of Co-Chair Alice Weidel was present and that's bad optics, but he was immediately fired when his participation came to light. The man claims he attended as a private citizen in his own interest. Martin Sellner sticks out for sure though. Affiliating with him is really bad optics, I'll concede that point. But in the context of other EU immigration policy, I really don't see how or where deporting imported welfare recipients with shoddy claims to asylum is really all that new or scandalous...

My ancestors left Europe for a reason. It was poor. It will be poor again and Europeans will have to leave again en masse. Now the governments of Europe know their economies are failing due to bad economic policy..hence they let let in enough migrants to create an uproar and deflect blame from their ineptitude. This is only temporary but all they want is to win the next election so that suits these politicians very well. The day of reckoning is fast approaching and yet they speed it up with ridiculous rules for business and absurd tax policy... worst part is the fools who elect and keep on electing these charlatans to power .

Wrong. Europe is still strong. Its the so-called "future doctors and engineers' immigrants who came up from nowhere and ruining everything by exhausting the social infrastructure, demanding more priviliges, and recently asking for crazy amount of cash incentives. Europe wouldn't be in this position if they didn't accept immigrants and forcing member states to accept them too
