She was as real as they get. She didn't pretend or sugar coat her life. She let the whole world see who she really was and I commend her for that because most celebrities live behind a facade.

Do you feel that because you're a female artist you get treated differently within music industry ? ''Only when I'm my period'' Do you consider yourself a sex symbol? ''Only to Gays'' Amy was hysterical, let her rest.

Apart from beating her music when I was out I never paid much attention to Amy Winehouse when she was alive. My God, she is wise. What she had to say at 5:25 sums up my feelings exactly. Watching her with the guitar singing that piece - so talented. Rest in peace Amy Winehouse, a real musician not a fame chaser (like so many these days).

Amy's voice is so superb she doesn't even need instruments to showcase her talent! She sings live always so u get a slightly different version of all her songs. It's impossble to get bored with her songs. I cling to her every note absorbing the sweet beauty of her voice as she takes u to another realm u never knew existed! Her talent is indescribable! She accomplish what she started out to do and that is to make u 4get ur troubles with her music - well done Amy u have!

Her accent was so much more understandable when starting off. But her depression was so severe and the drugs got so heavy and here it sounded like she loved her music but it was life of stress. Years later in interviews she mumbled and her accent was heavy which must have been for a few reasons. Poor baby

You don't get it; her pain and self destructive nature are part of what made her so great. Without that she wouldn't have written such great songs and or sang with such passion and sadness. Its not a case of being a waste, she always was a broken genius.

Her music is STREETS ahead of ALL those other "singers".The personal aspect of her writing makes what she left behind, something that will ENDURE,along with her amazing voice.Aguilara, has a GREAT voice, but Amy was/is a jazz singer in my view, that's the difference, her influences, were serious Jazz vocalists, and trully, she belongs in that same discussion. She was IS,..that good.RIP

She was amazing. I'm so sorry that I never knew about her before July 23rd. I heard the "Rehab" song. But lets be honest folks. If Amy's genre was the menu at a 4 star restaurant (and it is) Rehab would be found on the salad menu. It might be an awesome salad. But, it's certainly not the best thing the chef has ever created. It's so sad to think that she was this great, and all the press could seem to feature, was her demise. I'll always admire her, and will be a life long fan. RIP Amy, Love YA!

The little bit at the last of the vid showcases not only her unfathomably good voice, and, to my surprise, some quite good guitar work as well:) I hope she can get into a better place with her habits someday, before it's too late...

I love her more and more as I get to know her. I find her personality, just fascinatiing. It seems, toward the end there, she looked liked a shadow of her former self but not to be too judgemental. Because a person can look a certain way but have grown on so many different levels. She was so fine looking when she was a freshy - I'm sure she could just have been a model if she wanted. Rest easy - she's going to continue to inspire a lot of people to procure some great music. Love ya....

she earned the right to use her talent as well. God only takes you so far, she clearly worked very hard studying great singers jazz guitar, hip-hop guitar, r&b guitar, poetry, rap. SOme musician fail to realize that the original instrument and the most difficult to entertain with is the voice. Her application of her gifted vocal tone is amazing and something that can take a life time to achieve.

@GeniusAmongTards Genius, I agree! "Bluffing with my muffin" and "I wanna take a ride on your disco stick" aint NOTHING compare to the beautiful lyrics that Amy Winehouse writes in one particular song . . . .let's say "Wake Up Alone " for example. Here is just one quick example: This face in my dreams seizes my guts He floods me with dread Soaked in soul He swims in my eyes by the bed Pour myself over him Moon spilling in And I wake up alone This sounds so POETIC!

I think that when people say "what a waste of talent" what they meant is that like you said she could've done a lot lot more than what she did and that would make her, love ones, and us very happy by keep listening to this legend, being just a memory not necessary means is good, is sad at the same time doe to the circumstances of her death. What I'm trying to say is that drugs and lacoholism are destructible and we want NO more lives taken because of them. R.I.P Amy eres grande.
