This is absolutely remarkable. These 2 professors are saving so many lives with their work in melanoma. I am hoping with every fibre of my being that the ground breaking experiment with immunotherapy will also save Richard's lives. This video is a message of fortitude, bravery, hope and true grit. All the best. Laura 🫶

Lost my aunt to brain cancer few years ago. Praying they find anything that prolongs the life of someone with this cancer. Do not wish this on anyone person or family. Great lecture, prayer for you and your family.

Professor Long does not have a permanent position of employment. She survives on writing grants - requesting money every couple of years from the government. Let's think about that in the context of the contribution she has made to medicine. We will give her an AO but not a permanent salary.

Offering hope. My brother aged 57 Diagnosed multiform GBM wild type 26/08/23. Had surgery, Chemo, radiation. Admire your courage! Hope your treatment works so clinical treatment will be available in time for my baby brother 💙 One of many 🧠 with this terrible diagnosis.

Thank you. I lost my husband to Glioblastoma. He had little options for treatment SOC needs to be changed. He passed almost 2 years ago on October 16th 🙏

I also wanted to comment a question? There are so many types of brain disorders/ diseases, My husband had Glioblastoma only discovered when his leg went numb…we have mammograms and colonoscopies and other preventative measures to help early stage diagnosis. Why is it that we don’t have standard MRI’s? I know so many people in the Glioblastoma community that only found out from an MRI preformed for another reason. I wish for prevention measures MRI’s although expensive would be As routine as a mammogram, colonoscopy common Pap smears, for women etc. so many don’t know until they have an MRI for another reason~ a seizure, a concussion, or severe migraines.

Why was the Minister for Health not there......Profs Long and Scolyer just presented preliminary data that may revise the BBB paradigm. Thankfully no sleepy AU health minister makes up the Nobel committee.
