OK LOOK, this is an exacting science. Many brains have been terminated to bring you those warm clouds.

I believe the numbering refers to the number of BAs, Hype 2 should have 2 BA , Hype 4 is 4 BA and this is 10 BA.

That's correct. The number corresponds to the number of BA in addition to the 2DD all three models share

Fully agree. Look on their product page! The Hype Series stands for Hybrid Performance so they wanna hightlight the amount of BA drivers which are typically dominant on grown up Hybrid IEMs like Hype 10. There won't be a Hype 12 with EST drivers as Zeos suggested though @@vianhoho19

The Dunu tips have become my favorite tips on most IEM’s. They do bring out the bass like foams but don’t soften the highs. They are on my Monarch MKII’s, Timeless’seses’s, and Kato’s.

These are a bit more Natural .. the Mk3 and LTD go for Hyper Realism detail . One to chill a bit more.

I've had the hallucination thing happen with my 1more evo's running Dolby atmos. They're still such shockingly good headphones I'm just struggling to find a modern TWS that can even hold a candle to them in the sound department that has the newest spec of ANC. They still routinely catch me out with the "what was that?" Effect. I'm not sure if any iem I own has even done that. They're being discontinued I think, because they're frequently on sale for only $70. Over a hundred bucks cheaper than they were new.

Hype 2 are better tuned than the Hype 4 that are sharp in the trebles. But overall the whole Hype series seems redundant for one reason- the Monarch 2 still beats all of Thieaudio iems that came out to this day. No reason in buying enything else from them. The Monarch 2 is in a class of its own. They are like the hd600 of iem world- many years will pass and there wont be any serious contender that will beat them by a big margin. Mark my words.
