hello what u recommend for gaming? ie900 or hype10 game and music overall mostly gaming hard

Thank you for your review. I ordered the Hype 10. Hoping it will be a great addition to the my IEM's. I currently have UM MEST MKII, (customs) 64 Audio a12t. (customs)

@@radiofreealbemuth I changed my mind last minute and went with the Monarch MKIII. They are a very good earphone. They are wonderful with good recordings, less compressed music. The downside is they are non forgiving with the opposite and become very harsh and fatiguing. Overall they have a nice timbre and tuning and present a good soundstage, again with music with good production. Overall I still prefer the Mest MkII in every way especially fun factor and keeping me engaged. Hope this helps.

Im very happy with my hype4. No complaints whatsoever. Very comfortable, look stunning, tuned awesome, natural timbre, vent well, good technicalities, excellent cable. Cant find any nitpicks even.

I had forgotten to upload the 4 review but it will be up tomorrow now. The whole line concept is absolutley fantastic 4 is definetly a huge step up from the 2 as well which was also good.

@@AudioLevels The price bump from hype2 and hype4 is like 25%. From hype4 to hype10 its like over 2x. If the difference between first two is bigger than last two, then the hype10 is slightly overpriced? I haven't personally heared hype2 or hype10 so that's just my guess based on the reviews.

@@xfubbarxHype 4 does seem like the sweet spot in the line up and the nitpicks people have with the Hype 2 seem to be fixed with Hype 4 along with a quality bump. Something about IEM's make music so engaging and fun. Even my Crin OG Zero's compete on engagement with my Edition XS. 1/10th of the price

​@@xfubbarx Unfortunatley thats not how it works and its known in almost every hobby as the law of diminishing returns. There are also a myriad of reasons why price increases. Firstly who does the hype 10 compete with. Its up there with the Monarch line with in performance but think of it as a BA tope end alternative and a good option for people who don't want EST. Dont look at any earphones withing their own line look at it as its own earphone and evaluate it against the similarly performing competition. After that revert back to price. For me I tested them a lot against the Mest, Monarch and Kineras. They hold there own up there. Secondly the naming scheme alone kind of hints at a Hype 6 or Hype 8 filling the gaps. Third economies of scale. I don't think people realise but the design of the 10 and the engineering behind it will cost more, the costs will be higher and they wont order as many from the factory or in house etc (many factories have minimum batch numbers for orders) at the higher price of the earphones there are less people that will buy them and thus they may sit on them longer or the cost per unit is divided by the minimum order number cost, profit margin and the number of units they will move. Then there are a whole host of other reasons for the pricing. Eg where do these stand against Nobles, Visions and finals in the 2000 range well....... that's for another video coming later in the year (and not just pertaining to the Hype 10). Long story short Hype 4 give you 85-90% or the Hype 10 (a number pulled from my ass) is spending double worth it for the final 10-15% for some people it will others not. Then others will spend more for the prestige ltd. and so on and so forth up the ladder. Obviously nowadays I get sent a fair few IEM's between Thieaudio

Guys Hype 4 is good for small ears or not ?

It is a shame that ThieAudio always have a large shell that won't fit many people, myself included with a medium sized ear. Had to return both the Monarch MkII and the Prestige Ltd as they were too big. Until this changes I'll not be buying any of their IEMs. They'd also increase their sales with a more universal fit shell. A fair few people have fit issues.

The shells remind me of the Boston self titled album cover. Too rich for my blood.

Do the Hype or Monarch series render the Prestige LTD irrelevant given the price jumps?

To me the Ltd is still very much the one to beat. Its just really special. That said I wasnt too hot on the regular Prestige and prefered the Monarch. The Hype 10 can be seen as a direct competitor to the Monarchs for those who prefer a BA treble over a EST. I for one am a big fan that there is such an option as im a huge supporter of BA sound especially on models where the metalic sheen is removed. Thats really the biggest difference.

@@AudioLevels the $400 USD price difference between the prestige ltd and Hype 10 is pretty significant, that's basically Hype 10 + Hype 4 = Hype 14. I am intrigued by the Hype 10 since the driver design makes it seem close to a Volur although I assume the drivers thieaudio use and the material of the shell are much less expensive. I've also never been a hug fan of ESTs so the BA plus DD sets are very attractive to me.

​​@@AudioLevels 10000000000% agree. Seems like a lot of the love has been going to the Hype 10 and Monarch MK3. I can see why. They are cheaper and they are amazing iems. Fun, engaging. And unfortunately seems that people forget about the Prestige LTD. Funny enough, my friend bought the Monarch MK3 and he loves them. But then I let him try my Prestige LTD for 2 days. And now he wants the Prestige LTD. Why? Because he said, it's more detailed, more smoother, it sounds more mature, the sense of space and soundstage is way bigger where as the Monarch MK3 is intimate in comparison. He also said the Prestige LTD is the better all rounder. The Monarch MK3 is fun with the bass. But when it comes to rock and music involving instruments. The Prestige LTD he likes way more. I feel bad. But I think he'll sell his Monarch MK3 and get the Prestige LTD now hahaha. They just do everything so well. It's extremely hard to fault them in anything. And considering that some people have compared to iems costing way more. For me, I prefer them over the Elysian Annihilator 2023.... That says amazing price to performance from the Prestige LTD. Expensive yes. But considering they compete with iems costing $3k........ Yeahhh... Maybe not as expensive haha

yeah just $100 different with mkiii like u said hype 10 is going more "safe" tuning rather analitical coz by the electrostatic drivers, coz that est driver is the most expensive these days, make sense.

I think that if a person likes music and enjoys lovely sounds in the surrounding universe MUST have his posted admissions, especially review pieces, to be recorded masterfully. Otherwise, his admissions lose their value. AudioLevels channel has no such credibility IMHO for its poor audio recordings.
