Very helpful video, excellent presentation. Besides the hydrophobic feature, does it provide any anti-uv protection, esp for cars which are parked under strong sunlight?

Hi,may I know how long does the product last? If I had applied wax on my car is it ok to use this product on top of the wax?

Thanks for the tips. Would allowing method 3, the dry application, benefit if you let it cure undercover for a bit.

Hi Matt Le Moo! Curing is required but I wouldn’t exactly say benefit. As in of course before it cures, and it’s exposed to say rain or washing, chances are it will be washed off. So it’s more of a requirement 😬

At first I use this product solely after clay , the gross is not as good as polymer wax like turtle Wax ice but must shorter time to apply compared to wax Jz now I applied turtle Wax ice den this coating together . The result is brilliant Ya this coating do last more than a month for certain section . Some section last about 3-5weeks .same to any wax on the market

Hey Duck! We own the formulas to all our chemicals, just that we do not have a very big production facility so we have other factories just to blend and pack for us

My main objective is to make my paintwork gloss and shine. Will this be a better alternative to typical waxing?

Hi Aaron! In terms of gloss and shine, if your car’s paint is without any defects like scratches, swirls and waterspots, then yes this is a better alternative to conventional wax. The ease of use of this product does not jeopardise the performance of what you would get from wax. However, if your car’s paint have the defects mentioned, gloss and shine will be not good enough with just wax or coating. You’ll need to restorer the paint first by polishing :)

Hi md ik! Well...... you can apply on glass, plastics and rims. But it doesn’t last too long as compared to paintwork as it is optimised for paint substrate. Rubber however.... don’t think it will do any harm but at the same time, it doesn’t give any beneficial effect 😅

May I know after i use Polish can i direct seal with Coat? or i need to remove the polish by ethanol?

Hi Hans! For this particular product Coat, you can just use it right over Polish without using IPA / Ethanol. 😁

If I sent my new car to do professional ceramic coating in the car detailing shop. Can I still apply this product on the coating?

Hey Chin, it is best to check with you installer on this matter due to the warranty concerns. The formulation is intended to act as a topper or standalone spray coat, it does not contain solvents that would disrupt coatings. But we reiterate, do check with your installer.

I just bought it, can it be rinsed using pressure washer or only using garden hose ?

Hey Kenny! Thanks for purchasing the Luminous Paintwork Coat! For method 3, throughout the whole car you do not need to wash the towel. After the one whole car, you should clean your towel because it may pick up some stains and cross contaminate your next session / or other applications used by your towel

Hi there! Yes, you can use it on the windshield! It may not last as long as it is on the paintwork, but still usable and that’s what I would do every month as i top up a coat for my paint, i will spray in on the glass too 😬

Hi Kriicher Promubol! Hope you are doing well there 😁. We generally don’t advise topping on Wax over a ceramic coating because the solvents that are used in waxes may emulsify the bond of ceramic coatings. For SiO2 sprays too, there is a possibility of the wax to self replace it self over the SiO2 Coating too, so we would advise against. However, do check with the manufacturer or seller on the compatibility of their own products. The waxes that we sell don’t go hand in hand we our ceramics and SiO2 sprays. Our SiO2 sprays work perfectly with our Ceramics. Besides, why would you layer wax over SiO2? 😬 Just use SiO2 all the way! Haha

Hi Yong lim, typically, under Malaysia weather, it's anywhere from3-6 weeks. There are many factors which will affect longevity of any sealant or coatings, ie: weather and temperature, how well the car surface is prepped, washing method and etc. There are users from Australia which are experiencing 9 weeks of longevity.

Will it cover light scratches?

Hey vsctan, hardly for our Paintwork coat; it does but really extremely light ones. Compared to paste and liquid waxes, those are better at filling up.

Can i use this on a matte finish??

Yes you can! However It’ll be better to spread apply via a slightly damp MF towel when working on matte finishes. Might leave streaks easier as compared to gloss finishes

Hey Marc! This Coating is not crystallising type so it will gradually come off as the car is being used, gets dirty and being washed from time to time .

Hi Ant Man! Yes it can be used on all glass however it is not so wiper resistant so it after a couple of rainfalls, if you used the wipers, it’s beading performance deteriorate. Side mirrors are good too. As for black exterior plastic parts, yes, it can be used over it too.

Hey Julian. We recommend it once per month under tropical weather like Malaysia. However there is no limit to how much love you can pour or spray onto your car. As and when you wish to.

Ceramic is a broad term for non-metalic materials that can be hardened. Sio2 is a type of ceramic material. There isn't a best coating that we can give a direct answer. But in short, crystallising coating = durability. Non-crystalising coating = easy application, but less durability

Hi. If i apply this spray coating, and i wash my car with wash and wax shampoo every week got effect on this coating?

Hi Wan! The coating generally (under Malaysian climate) lasts about 1-2 months. It’s recommended to clean the car at least once a week with a pH neutral shampoo to prevent from dirt and grime clinging into the paint. So back to your question, it will have very little negative effect towards this spray coating 😁

Hey, so after washing you may directly apply this sio2 sealant. there is no need to apply additional wax or sealant as it is meant to be a last step product.

Depending on the formulation of the sealant, maybe it will replace the SiO2, if that were the case the SiO2 will be wasted.😅. Sealants and waxes may contain solvents as a carrier / to spread it. These solvents may interfere with the SIO2

Hi Zuhairi, best check dengan installer anda. Secara theory, paintwork coat tidak mengandungi bahan yang boleh rosakkan coating ataupun cat. Tetapi lebih baik check dengan installer anda untuk pastikan warranty tidak di void. Douglas

Hey Charles. It's up to individual preference on which last step product (lsp) one would prefer, whether it's wax, coating or sealants. As for layering, the usual case would be spray based products goes last after paste/liquid/crystallising coating based lsp. Always good to refer to the product manufacturer if unsure.

So I managed to get this product from recent 11.11 and compared against Turtle Wax Seal & Shine which I've been using for 2 yrs now. As always clayed the cars applied the product as how I would apply SnS. I tried both the wet and dry process per your video. I'm totally disappointed despite after 24 hours, the outcome of gloss and smoothness is nowhere near SnS and I don't think it'll be durable as SnS of up to 4 mths at least in shaded area I'm sorry ain't buying this again.
