Ninja Storm was a creature of its time much like cheesy movies of that era 3 Ninjas and Surf Ninjas. This might as close as PR ever gets to self parody. Lothar's is very aware that he is a character on a tv show. At least they tried something different. That isn't going to happen any time soon.

Not even the same time period lol. 3 Ninjas and Surf is early 90's. PR Ninja Storm is early to mid 2000's. They're like a decade a part. But yes it was still very much a product of its time.

5:08: in the Disney era, the only Rangers who weren’t played by Aussies or Kiwis were Blake (Navy Thunder), Ethan (Blue Dino Thunder) and all of the core SPD B-Squad Rangers, except Z, who were all played by Canadians Z (Yellow SPD) and, obviously, Tommy were played by Americans And iirc, Will and Rose of Operation Overdrive were played by Brits. I think the cast of Jungle Fury did the best job of any season of hiding their accents. The only slip-ups, at least as far as I could hear, were Jarrod (who I don’t think even bothered to hide his accent) and occasionally Theo. The accent slips are frequent, and pretty obvious for most of the first two seasons, but once you get to SPD, the actors actually start doing a much better job.

I actually like Ninja storm theme but Hurricaneger wins because it fits its motif of "ninja" a bit more. OST is better. For some reason, Ninja storm had a couple of original BGM's but they started using recycled soundtracks from films which I thought was lazy (Dino thunder also did that as well) I feel like despite having odd ball humour, Hurricanger did a splendid job on it's drama and plot. I like the fact that the main three are amateurish and highly optimistic because this contradicts a lot with the Gouraigers. I did like the ninja storm characters they were down to earth but they all felt the same even the thunder rangers. Red- Despite being a "shonen" like character, I give this one to Yuske. As you guys said he has a lot of growth not in his skills but maturity. Shane is cool but doesn't have strong standout moments. Also, I feel like yuske was more of an empathetic character to his team mates, for example when he took Ikkou viruses instead because he wanted to sacrfice his life. Another good one was when Yuske, fought the magnet monster all by himself because he didn't wanna burden the others who had dreams. Shane was just being a cunt and thought hecould do everything by himself. Blue- Tori is cool but the writer's don't give her anything to do she comes off as a hippie (which I don't mind) Nanami is adorable and has a lot more focus episodes. Yellow- I like dustin a lot more because his appeal is so fun. But they are times where comes off like he smokes pot. I did like the fact that he was heart broken by luthor's nieces that was cool. However, kouta has an arc with clan in the academy and grows to. Crimson/Kabuto - Ikkou is a better character. He was an asshole at the beginning but he slowly change for the better. Especially when he didn't tell any one that he was dying, I felt like we learn something from his struggle. Hunter is cool but is very forgettable. Navy/Kuwagata- Navy ranger was cool he gained a lot more focus than hunter indeed. Isshu is cool but like you guys said, his brother was that authoritative figure Green/Shuriken - Cam is very useful and knowledgable and I did like his arc for getting the smurai amulet. However, this did irk me because the show was "Ninja's" and knowing that he has a shuriken as his visors which is a weapon ninja's use rub me the wrong way but that's just me. Shurikenger to me flt like the better ranger but not the better character (although he was set up to be more interesting due to his identity) he was fun, charismatic and awesome. I will say this though Shurikenger is what the Omega ranger should have been in SPD. Even though he didn't have a definitive identity he had a presence. Unlike, the Omega ranger who didn't have that personal interraction with the characters as much and just felt like a suit actor in a suit (which he was) Hurricanger wins this one especially when they did over they're training with their sensei to show how much they've improved.

Ninja Storm is my favorite season. Blake is my favorite ranger in the season. I think Dustin is also really good cause he was too trustworthy and it made him a cool character. Also Vexicus was the best villain in Ninja Storm.

makes me miss Shane RIP I liked the costumes and feel both series were not really as great tho both interesting. I feel much of it was rushed by Disney

I enjoyed the ninja storm villains purely for how funny they were.

I prefer Hurricanger way better because the ninja theme is more grounded.

Well, I guess it's safe to say that Hurricaneger wins this round. But, I am not even sure if I should go back and revisit Ninja Storm since there really isn't that much of a plot in that season. But hey, at least it's not like Samurai/Super Samurai where they just basically watered down the tone to make everything feel all "Kid-Friendly" for all the little children.

I mean, I don't even understand why they couldn't even just explain how Kevin, Mike and Emily are actually connected to Japanese ancestry based on their family trees, respectively. I mean, seriously. I am not gonna blindly accept that they even have Japanese blood in them, if they don't actually explain how their family ancestors are connected to Japanese ancestry in the show. Plus, why couldn't they just make Jayden and Lauren, Japanese-American in the show?! Or just say that Jayden is adopted and Lauren is Japanese-American, but isn't the true head of the "Shiba" clan, since he was adopted by an Japanese-American immigrant family, and Lauren is the true blood heir of the Shiba clan. That would have made more sense to me.

They could have biracial asians in the show but make red, blue and yellow asian. Since they're so loyal to him becasue they respect their tradition especially blue. The sad thing is, they're isn't any excuse for not hiring asians because New zealand and Australia has a good bit of asian actors.

Ninja Storm is the bottom of the barrel imo even worse than Mega Force. but unlike Goranger where i just couldn't bare to watch more than 3 episodes i will at least give Hurrikenger a full watch simply because it has a power rangers season to compare it to. i am thankful for Gorangers because without it we would of never got PR but i really don't see how it got 83 episodes let alone a sequel so i have to also believe that Hurrikenger will be better than it too, sorry for the ramble but i needed to vent, i really don't like Ninja Storm or Goranger and i hope to god that Hurrikenger is better than both.

@@FuryousD gorenger is in the 70s so is hard to watch for mordern kids... even for me, Hurricanger have the music and the performance but is not better than Ninja storm because there’s still so many unanswered questions in Hurricanger. In my opinion I think you should give Ninja Storm a chance is way better than (super) mega force. But if you really want to get into super sentai, I would recommend watching Gokaiger which is super mega force. Because it has so many clue and info from past season that make you want to go back and watch all the season before it. That’s all I can say.

@@thanh-sangnguyen8006 i mean i have watched plenty of shows from the 70s and even some from the 60s (i really enjoy classic Dr Who for instance) albeit all of them were in english but still Goranger was just terribly cringey, i just couldn't stand watching more than 3 episodes. i am saving Gokaiger for last because it has big shoes to fill from how much praise i hear it getting and i am going to be very critical with it since i actually like Super Megaforce and Megaforce (i don't like how they completely gutted both Goseiger and Gokaiger though). the nick era of PR has been absolutely terrible with it's splitting shows into 2 seasons (and the aforementioned gutting of 2 sentai shows) and these horrible hiatuses mid season that i really hope Hasbro addresses with season 2 of Dino Fury.

power rangers ninja storm is good

ok....as weird as this may seem.....i feel like a rant-o-cast/review should be done for that live action sailor moon show toei did....i mean it was OKAY but the fight scenes were brought down because of the costumes the heroes had to wear..in the end though toei ruined the potential for a good show by having the costumes be so close to the anime..the characters were okay but..you can't have a good toku show without good ACTION

Even though I give Ninja Storm a 7/10 overall, they took care of the vast majority of Hurricanger's situations a lot better! Even one of the few, if not the only, decent Hurricanger episode featuring yakiniku and zero gravity was much better handled in Ninja Storm. Considering how incompetent the Hurricangers were all throughout the series, with very little improvements despite starting as a team of three, you think they should've taken a very light-hearted route like Ninja Storm has done!

Cam is the only redeemable Ranger character that Ninja Storm has imo, i haven't seem Hurrikenger yet but i have to give it to cam simply because if i don't Ninja Storm gets nothing, it is the worst season of Power Rangers, thankfully it is better than some of the older Sentai so i will at least give it that but only because it is more modern. the only other redeemable characters are Cam's cousins.
