Oliver, I just wanted you to know that you are an angel sent from the heavens above. Your song "gotta get sober" made me want to get sober. I was drinking an 18 pack with liquor, smoking 2 packs every day. I felt like my family would cope better if it was just alcohol poisoning rather than suicide. You made me realize life is worth living bro. I know how humble you are after watching you any chance I get for the past week but, I really appreciate your music inspiring me to be better. I also want you to know that I love all your songs and literally listen to them everyday since I first heard of you several days ago.

Love this song - my mom's youngest of 9, from holler in Kentucky, gramps coal miner gone before I met him from cancer, grandma dementia by time I was 4 and crazy, my mom's been troubled her whole life from the dirt poor conditions in those coal mining hills from her youth - remember visiting as a kid to see my crazy uncle who lived in their childhood home till he died, roof falling in, black bare feet and black and white photos of uncle Jr. who served in WW2 still on the wall. That was 35 years ago and that house on the hill has been swallowed up by the trees long ago now. This song rings true sir.

I have thousands of black and white photos from families where they didn’t care to even keep the photos. I collected stories from my father so I could keep those in my heart just like you collected stories that you could keep in your heart. My grandfather died before I was born so I got it many stories as I could for my dad now that he’s past I’m the only one who has the stories nobody else in my family cared about them. Reminds me of my Grandpa who song of country folk, soul, incredible old songs. I heard them on the radio and telling him I heard his songs on the radio and they were butchering HIS SONG😂 he got a kick out of telling me he wrote them lol of course I believed it. But fondest memories from my life was him singing around the camp fire. He started recording towards the end and he left a couple CDS for me unfortunately I gave them for his memorial and never got them back. Miss it so Thank you for giving me a piece of that. Love it

To see Oliver Anthony and my favorite singer Jamey Johnson on stage together was incredible. Those two, and a few others are what real country is, not this twangy hip-hop crap that Nashville is trying to shove down our throats! Oliver Anthony has ignited a ground swell of true Americans who love God & Country. Please quit selling yourself short Mr. Anthony, you and your music are resonating in millions of people and that isn't an accident. I truly believe you are God's instrument!

My son is a Vet. He has shared some of his stories. It got me thinking about how many of us know our parent's stories, our grandparents' stories? How many can say they know much about their family story? I wonder. How may of us know our children's stories. Are families closer today or farther away emotionall. As families... do we connect and share our real deep and organic stories... or just the ones that can be shared in 60 seconds or less? I wonder. It seems there is no time and more and more times we share less and less as families... because of the time it takes to make money to support our family. It seems to me what they fought for worked for is being taken away...it seems our time is being taken away to make and know those stories. Good stuff.

I lived not far from him. You can't more real than those hard working folk. Loved living there, made true friends for life. First time I heard his music I was covered in goose bumps from head to toe.

I grew up on classic rock and never had a taste for country music or the blues. Never knew what I was missing. If I could get digital copies of your music, that's all I'd listen to when I ride my Harley. I don't know what that music is touching inside me, but it's deep.

I grew up thinking Waylon and Jones and Jonny paycheck were the end of country. Then there was church and Stapleton. Now sir your the hope that real country will survive and that the heart felt music and honest country folk will remain. I could only hope more like you will rise to spread hope to us because I've never heard anyone who could cut to the heart like you do. Someday I'd like to hear you live. Thank you and let God keep you safe in doing exactly what you are doing undividing those who they are trying so hard to divide

He could be anybody's son, brother, even Dad. So humble, even loving and caring for his dogs so well, and look at those hard-working hands. We once had a President who used to chop wood, down trees.......did the hard work.......and Abe was one of the best. Not that Oliver should be President, but a well-qualified, hard working, devoted man of God, should be!!! That's what impresses me.
