@@oliveranthonymusic I think "All I Can Do Is Write About It" would sound great by you. There's no lead or drums, but it's pure Skynyrd. If you'd rather rock the blues, (I Got The) Same Old Blues would be awesome. Either one would be great. Thanks, and Rock On!!

Thank you! Keep God your focus as he gave you this tremendous break! Dont let the darkness of the music industry grab you and take you enslaved. Remain independent! This is wisdom from an old grandma. Let Jesus lead you! You have been given the greatest opportunity to help heal a nation and bridge the division for unity for our nation and world wide! God bless you son! #1 Fan right here in Arkansas!! Cant wait to hear more from you! You have wisdom beyond your years! Praising God for you!! Hey my cousins and I would walk down the highway, with my Aunt keeping the old Ford 60 something pickup along side us. We'd gather up the cans, bottles and trash too. We'd throw everything in the bed of the truck, sell the recycling and take the trash to the dump. The local Dairy Queen would reward us with a free ice cream for the trash pickup and we bought groceries for our family with the money. That was Texas, over 30 years ago

He's said it in his original songs, he is an old soul, and he's not the only one. I was given more music from the past as a child than i ever got of music being made at the time, and i find a lot more themes and ideas that i resonate with from back then, as opposed to the limited scope of mainstream media today. I will listen to any music, but I happen to keep finding myself on those fantastic classic rock tunes of the 70s. Keep Rockin, Johnny. 🤘

I generally keep my thoughts and comments to myself. However, every once in a while, something inside compels me to say something. I know this hell of which you speak. I'm going on 65 yrs, I was "your brother". No room here for details but...your comment touched me deeply. My journey back from "that place" started about ten years ago and took some time and a lot of prayers. Although no one told me, I KNOW people were praying for me. So please, pray fervently for him and have faith (and hope) that he'll come around...and he will. Thank you for your comment. Thank you for touching me as you have. May God richly bless you. Sincerely, "Your brother "

A soulful, powerful, and beautiful rendition/arrangement/interpretation of a vastly under rated Skynyrd song. Nicely Done! Great singing voice too. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Especially LOVE the resonator. It just lends a perfect, kind of dark tone to it. Thank You for posting this.

Awesome song, Chris. I can relate. Been pickin' geetar for 56 yrs and when I was ten, I'd listen to this guy around the corner from me play song after song. Had no money to pay him so I'd babysit his kids just so I could listen. You got the goods, brother & you ain't even begun to get old yet. You set sail on your adventure a year ago and your ship came in two weeks ago. So keep on writtin'... Keep on expressin' yourself. We're all here with ya', on this magnificent ride-along. Semper Fi😎👍

I've been a stagehand for 36 years. I haven't listened to music for probably about 20 years it's good to know that somebody out there still can play their soul. Just know that you're the only person I listen to. My wife died four weeks ago. It's good to hear somebody actually saying something from the heart for a change.
