I'm 69 and love Jamey Johson's version of this song. But this version by Black Mojo hits hard too. Especially when the intensity of those guitars come crashing in all at once.

How has only 1.8 million people experienced this level of perfection? Seems like 330 million others on the planet are missing out, and yet here I am listening again for the 4th or 5th year in a row.

Don’t worry, they’re original music has far surpassed the 1.8 million mark; four albums, played with Bon Jovi, and Marshall tucker band. They’re doing well. Sincerely, Proud past roomie of one of the members.

OMG! That song brought back memories of my Grandpa. He was a decorated WWII HERO!!!! He passed 7 years ago at 95 years young. I loved to listen to his stories about him a his buddies during WWII. That was the GREATEST GENERATION WHO EVER LIVED! I'm 57 years old and it was my honor to stand in his shadow!!!!!

Why is country music drifting towards pop/country when there is a PERFECT love child to be made in the rock/country department like this...a perfect mix of the country feel with the emotion of the heavier instrumentals.

I lost my loving wife of 30 years last Sunday. The original version was one of her favorite songs, and y'all did a great job with it. I can see our wedding pics in my mind every time I hear it, and I cry every time but its what needs to be done.

This aong hits home for me and it was performed perfectly. My grandfather was born in the 20's, lived through the depression, served in WWII, was apart of the team that liberated Auschwitz, and came home to marry my grandmother. He passed July 12, 2018 at the age of 93. When i hear this song, i think of him.

You have found a way to make my 11 year old daughter like rock music.

This song has always reminded me of my Great Grandad. Best man I’ve ever known. He taught me how to play the guitar on their front porch while we talked about his time in WW2 and his “Good Ol Days” growing up during the depression and the time that he had with my Great Grandmother. He’s gone now and there are very few WW2 veterans left to tell their stories. I’ve got the memories and this song. Y’all nailed it.

I'm a huge huge huge Jamey Johnson fan, this is one of my most favorite songs of his, thank you for doing an awesome cover. Thank you for respecting the song, but adding a tasteful twist to it. Love it!!

You guys are probably the best raw rock band of this time. Incredible Lyrics, Incredible energy, synergy, and vocals. Never give up, you are meant for greatness.

I was introduced to this song by a girl who lives in Canada and fell for❤ I instantly fell in love with this song thanks to her, as time pasted we both moved on but still to this day everytime I hear this it reminds me of her and it brings me that smile that I lost along time ago, Amazing song always one il remember

As I sit here at my desktop listening to this..literally weeping..looking up at the wall above me, at the framed black&white portraits; one of mom and dad on their wedding day, (yeah...she was 18, had black hair & blue eyes and was beautiful) and one of dad as a 10 year old share cropper's son in '41...and another as a proud US Army infantryman headed to war in Korea in '51..and the all the other cherished elders on my 'family wall'...all now long departed. OK, we saw BTM last month in Syracuse, NY. Love this! This song is this touching to me because I was a thousand times closer to my GREAT-grandparents as I am to my grandparents, and just as close as I am to my parents now. It's one I associated with my great grandparents from the minute I heard it because he fought in WWII, and she faked her age for them to get married when she was 15, both had blue eyes and they were the loves of each others lives until the day she died. I lost him in August of 2000, but I was lucky enough to introduce her to both of her great-great-grandsons, and for her to watch them grow for 1 and 3 years before she passed away on May 16, 2011. To this day it's the ringtone that would play if her number ever called me again so it takes a lot for me to praise a cover for this song but you guys did an awesome job! Keep up the good work!
