IN A VIOLENT NATURE: Interview with writer/director Chris Nash

Фильм және анимация

We speak with local (to us) filmmaker Chris Nash about their upcoming Sundance hit, the slasher film IN A VIOLENT NATURE.
It's been some time since Nash wowed audiences with their contribution to ABCs of DEATH 2, Z is for Zygote, and their debut feature film made a huge impression on audiences at Sundance this year.
We discuss the orgins of the flick and what it took to pull off two of the most impressive and brutal kills you'll ever see in a slasher flick.
IN A VIOLENT NATURE will be released in theaters on May 31st.

This film, I love...it's one of the most beautifully directed horror films ever made....I mean...seriously...it's gorgeous....bird song, nature, flora, fauna....and such brutality and originality....saw it in the theater....and was just cheering the entire time....then had to get it online and have watched if 3 more times since then....Chis....you're doing great work, Keep it up, Dude....love Johnny....great mask, weapons and character....

No WAY! Chris did the Z for Zygote?! I absolutely LOVED that segment in ABCs of Death 2. Best one out of the bunch!

I don’t know what movie you guys watched but this movie was terrible. So terrible. The pacing is the worst I have ever seen in my life, this should’ve been 40 minutes long. The characters were terribly written, the backstory on the killer was nonexistent, the ending was one of the worst pieces of cinematic garbage I’ve seen. A 15 minute car ride conversation? That’s not building tension when we’ve endured watching the killer stroll through the woods at 1mph. Total dumpster fire of a film and legitimately made me mad how boring it was. Please avoid it or fast forward to the kills. Better yet just Google the kills it’ll have better production value and you’ll save your money. I want my refund 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
