Programming Multi-Function Digital Inputs in IMPULSE®️ Series 5 G+ or VG+ Drives
1. Introduction
This SOP provides a step-by-step guide to program the Multi-Function Digital Inputs (MFDI) in IMPULSE®️ Series 5 G+ or VG+ drives.
2. Procedure
2.1 What is the MFDI?
All of the control signal inputs, that are identified by the terminals S1 through S8 are programmable. The programming for these is contained in the H01-XX parameters.
2.2 MFDI Monitor parameter U01-10
Access the monitor mode U01-10.
2.3 Understand the Display
On the display for U01-10, the furthest digit on the right represents the S1 terminal input. The second digit from the right will be terminal S2. The third digit from the right will be terminal S3 so on and so forth.
2.4 Understand the U01-10 Status
The U01-10 input terminal status can be used for programming, for wiring, and for troubleshooting.
