Improve Your Brushwork FASTER ✨ Doing the Same Painting Twice 😳 Loose Alla Prima Oil Painting
In this video I continue to improve my skills with the Alla Prima oil painting course by Jared Brady, which is really helping me improve my brushwork, make better rose paintings, and paint loose. This time around I decided to follow his tutorial and paint alongside him first, and then the next day repeat the same painting all by myself, only with the reference picture. I feel that this really pushed me to use the lessons I had learned or observed from his approach to the painting, and to combine them with what would be my more natural way to go about it. After letting the pages dry, I will add a sheet of parchment paper in between to prevent the two pages from sticking together :)
