Loose Painting of Beautiful Roses 🌹 Alla Prima Sketchbook Oil Painting ✨ Paint With Me
This week I painted lots of roses, which are so hard to do but I love so much. I painted a white rose earlier in the week, and also this painting that I share here, which has many roses. I painted both of these under the teachings of the amazing artist that is Jared Brady. He is so good at painting alla prima and keeping everything loose. I also love the subject matter that he chooses to paint, which is often beautiful flowers! I painted on my sketchbook, and used water-mixable oil paints. amazing roses, I love that loose look and feel. Yes, i do know of that artist and his still lives are quite amazing and can't wait to see how you progress further after watching their videos. Again great work, looking forward to the next one!

Wow dude you’re just such an inspiration. You’re so diligent with your creations! I would like to work on being able to mix the colors I need for my references. It takes so so long to try and match the right colors but I keep on failing and end up going on a hiatus.

I looove this! That yellow / gold flower really makes it sparkle. Was it from reference photo? I definitely think you should do one on a canvas for your wall. Yes, would love to see video with comparison after initial instructional as well. I love that you do real time paint brush strokes it’s kind of like ASMR for me, haha! Happy Painting. 🎨

Right?! Such pretty colors! Yes, this is from a reference photo while following Jared Brady's video. I should definitely redo this and frame it on the wall. It's too pretty.
