I think it's quite interesting! I was invited to the same beta but unfortunately never was able to test due to time constraints. I been using Cascadeur a bit before Unity Muse Animation tool and while it is a bit different, not prompt based but more auto posing, etc. The promise of a faster workflow to get you halfway there to allow animators to tweak from that in Maya or their tool of choice is exciting to me. Definitely still a lot of kinks to work out above but you can see the promise and future and I am stoked to see where it goes. I do not feel threatened by it but more how can I harness this tool and tame it to my liking. How can I get to my end animation result in the quickest way possible without sacrificing quality? AI tools like this show me where animation is heading and how much easier certain cycles can be generated quickly. I sure don't want to keep animating walk and run cycles if I can get a close template generated by Muse and then tweak it so the person walks with more personality and the vision I have in my mind.😁

Ah, the eternal struggle of animators - how to get to the end result in the quickest way possible without sacrificing quality. It's like trying to find the holy grail of animation! But with these AI tools, we're getting closer to that grail. So let's keep taming and harnessing them to our liking, and who knows, maybe we'll become animation wizards in the process!

Looks like it’s not AI, maybe they have animation library and they just take one of them from the library

I am a developer on this project. I can assure you, the animation is 100% generated by AI and not clips taken directly from a library. Also, as with all our AI tools, Unity made sure to acquire the rights to all the training data. Thank you for your feedback!

I'd probably learn to animate rather than pay 30 dollars per month to a cringe company

I share your concerns - the whole industry is shaking because of the price changes of some companies
