1 year ago I bought the design from AM Studio and I am delighted with the result, great job !!!

Great mod! It didn't make me any faster but it feels more like the paddles on my C7 Corvette. I found someone local to print the piece and he made an extra.

He already has, check his channel. But to be fair, just like how he did a generic GT3 then AMG GT3 rim, I'd like him to do a specific F1 rim like what you describe as well. How would the wheel from JP Montoya's 2004 Williams sound?

@@cormacbcb +if the game can remap the gear up and down to 3rd and 4th gear yes, if you cant remap it wont work

i made it with wood, i tightened them together with zip ties so the wood wont crack or stress too much

Currently looking at buying my first wheel and I've been binge watching most of your mods videos for the g29. You're super creative and talented and that 3d printer is one hell of a machine! The sleepy DYI part of me gets super interested in all your solutions. Now, onto my question, I can find a g29 for about €220 online while the T300rs (basic 2 pedals set) sits at about €260, but I guess I would upgrade it further if I find out I truly enjoy simracing (the new load cell pedals presented by David Perel look like a great piece of kit, not to mention the TH8A shifter which looks quite cool). I got a bit confused as checking many "world records" in Assetto Corsa I saw that guys with G27 and G25 are the predominant majority in the top leaderboards and I wondered if I should even go spending more than the "cheap" G29 to have an effective setup. Either way, bravo with your videos and best of luck with your current and future projects!

your channel opened my eyes to a whole world of possibility. i know your a sim racing channel but it would be amazing to see your way of teaching and level of detail on Arduino electrical wiring on other more complex projects. one that has my mind blown is the chess playing robot. it would be fantastic to see one built and wired cleanly and explained more deeply while still being explained simply, which you are great at doing. side note, is it possible to create a shaker like the "ButtKicker Gamer 2"?

hello, ive been recently going thru possible g29 upgrades to add to my simtrucking setup and I was wondering is it possible to make some sort of an extension that makes the wheel rotate 1800° insetad of 900°, like using some 2:1 gear wheels. It would resemble real trucks more as in ets 2 its capped at 900° which is common rotation scale of normal cars but there are mods to make it 1800°

I did the same thing but "ghetto" style: 2 medium zipties, hot glue and a magnet on each end. Works a treat for a price of cup of coffee. Also built the hydro e-brake from your vid too, and it still going strong as ever! 😉 👍

You could add some thin cloth to the surface of the magnets to reduce the sound whilst still retaining the feel

Hey, been watching your videos and as you know pretty much everything about G27 and G29 sim wheels I wanted to ask you how to remove the constant 10 degree deadzone of my strwheel. It's the G27. I need it to be solid and realistic but It's just loose between the first 5 and 15 degree when turning. Thank you very much

what force do the magnets have? all the 8x5mm magnets I find have like 1.5 to 2.5kg of pull force
