how did you add vlc as an audio source? In my OBS only the desktop audio and mic appears but not vlc or spotify or games :(

Hi Joe, Great video thanks. Many KZreadrs leave out audio but you're videos sound professional and smooth! I've recently starting watching your content and just subscribed. I will soon be live streaming as a DJ and regarding this video it will be good for me using the compressor for side ducking my audio for when I speak over the music!!! A quick question for you so I can double check - the changes you made to the high filters using the Slick EQ filter will effect the music ALL of the time as it doesn't have a ducking on it? If so it's probably best for my music not to add this.

Correct, the EQ plugin will affect the audio at all times. So if your going to be DJing I would not use it. BTW thank you for Subscribing and hope to see you around :-)

SPL DeReverb Plus and iZotope RX9 DeVerb are both really good.

Would you do this with ingame audio as well? or would the compressor attack and release be different? since its ingame audio also where would the limiter be in the list bottom middle or top and what would the release be on the limiter right now have the limiter to -6 & 60ms release ?

Apply to both.. I apply to both, but I run the game audio at different gain levels.. For example I will have the music at around -25db, game audio at around -19db and my mic audio at around -6db.

OK.. so... followed a few of your videos and my small setup is so nice now.. audio using OBS and pushing to youtube and twitch via restream.. BUT I started to look into the StreamLabs OBS and imported settings and it was looking good BUT now all my MIC settings are gone, and when I go to see the settings under the mic it locks up frustrated... ugh, OBS or StreamLabsOBS ( the reason I went to Streamlabs was to get notifications when I get a new subscriber... and a few small other things.. but is it really worth it.. whats you thoughts

Streamlabs has issues. Despite Streamlabs OBS being a fork of OBS Studio, it for some reason has issues.

@@zencorpo thanks brother yep that's exactly what I did.. but I went back to OBS studio and then implemented streamelements into it It's working perfect.
