I had a dream: a black sand beach with a white cockeral walking across it, hot springs, 3D trees and 3D upside down trees and a windmill with its arms spinning in the wind..... this is a metaphor, I'm sure! A brilliant video Rahel. Thank you.

My family is from the Açores! We visited sao Miguel for the first time last summer and the nature was beautiful. Not a huge fan of the city portion though. Our origin island Santa Maria still has my heart too.

@@aligonzales1480 it's true that Flores is extremely beautiful (so I've heard) but they are also facing even more harsh living conditions there.

i think you should take an hammock find an nice spot and let nature provide you with her own music as you already do but an hammock just sounds so more relaxed lol and enjoy every minute

Rahel, What a gorgeous place. I especially loved the fat-looking trees whose bulk hang over the waters of the lake. Never seen anything quite like it. The view at 4:37 was simply magical. I hope that most of the land, these beautiful places, will be designated as national park. Maybe the same can be done for the beautiful forest areas in Pico. Also, the tree that looked like a palm, I believe is a cycad, the oldest type of living plant. We have some here in Miami, mainly in the city’s tropical garden. I hope that you will have another chance to visit this place again, soon. Thank you.

Eve, I love that you pay so much attention to the different trees in this video. I certainly enjoyed discovering the magic and wonders of São Miguel though it was a bit too touristy for me, so currently I have no desire to visit again any time soon.
