i really feel that Clara is the companion that connected the best with the doctor.

Clara must really mean something to the doctor. I mean he suffered 4.5 billion years in order to save her. He went a little too overboard for her and he wasn't able to do the same for Amy and Rory. He was careful not to break any rules with time and that's why he didn't attempt to save them. In her case, it was different. She was the only exception. I'm glad she'll be back for the 12th's regeneration. Hope it'll be epic

The eleventh doctor's "Miss Ya" line at the very end killed me

This is one of those videos to show people who continue to deny that there was anything between the Doctor and Clara, or that it ended when he regenerated. Or that Clara was "just another companion" which I have no word of a lie actually seen people try to claim. Taken as a whole - from 2012 to 2015 - the relationship between the Doctor and Clara Oswald was one of the greatest romances I've ever seen play out on TV, or in many films. But because they didn't play by the rules of pop culture romance a lot of people don't or won't recognize it (plus sad to say there's been a lot of ageism happening too, forgetting that the Doctor could be played by a 6 year old and still be centuries older than anyone else on screen). What's very interesting is there is so much shipping that is "wishful thinking" or based on "reading between the lines" which some may discount. What I think is confusing a lot of people is that this is one ship that is evident throughout the on-screen canon. There is no wishful thinking required.

I have officially cried for the first time over a fictional character. This was beautiful

honestly, the directors of doctor who should watch these deep videos. like, they can learn so much and get so many ideas for DW! i mean this video perfectly captures the beautiful relationship between clara and the doctor, its so much more than just a friendship. there are deep connections, and they understand each other on a level thats thats so moving. i think this relationship is more moving than river and 11.

I cried through this whole thing. I've never heard this song before, and the way it started, and the scenes, oh wow, my heart. But that last time he said that he had a duty of care, I think that's what broke my heart the most. And when he says "Clara who?" They were so good together. I loved them together.
