I wish Brits treated foreigners the way Bulgarians do. But unfortunately this is not the case.

Most places apart from Southern Bulgaria. I love the coast with my favourite places being Sozopol and Nessebar old town.

@@ChadandJamal Thank you Jamal ! Bulgaro is nice indeed, but I wish it had a bit more listening to do, since hearing the pronunciation of words is important. I am currently using bulgarianpod101, which seems pretty nice, but i am still on the first few lessons.

Last time i watched your videos you couldn't speak Bulgarian at all Atleast you're still trying It IS one of the hardest languages to learn Mainly because it's so different from others and the pronunciation is so different and pretty difficult If you're let's say, an american and you try to learn Bulgarian Sure you can make progress but i doubt one will ever speak it fluently like bulgarians do Поздрави от град петрич 😉

Наречен is something like the colloquial word for кръстен or named. So basically the tongue twister means: Why was Named named Named? Because if Named wasn't named Named, Named wouldn't have been named Named. P.S. Речен also means something of a river, like a city next to a river can be called речен град.

Some of these are a challenge to Bulgarians either. Two of them were not the proper versions. The right ones are: Кралица Клара крала на крал Карл кларинета. Шише се суши на шосе. The font on the phone is a traditional Bulgarian (it has distinctive small and capital letter versions - like the English font used in youtube) while the one in the subtitles is simplified Russian font adopted also in Bulgaria (the small letters are just smaller version of the capitals - like the Bulgarian font used in youtube)

Mate make a video how you spend 24H with your bird while she speaks only Bulgarian and gives you different tasks like to cook something or to go to grocery store and buy some things from a list written in Bulgarian. Two things will happen. We will have a laugh and you will learn something :)

russian cyrillic uses the same symbols for capital and lowercase letters, Bulgarian Cyrillic has different lowercase letters than its capital ones. basically most signs and graphic design in bg uses russian cyrillic. Off the top of my head I can only think of lidl who actually use Bulgarian cyrillic.

Your bulgarian is so good lol. Many foreigners sound like Gypsies which is quite funny, because their "native" language is not bulgarian but they learnnit, but they have a really funny accent. Great job

Lol why do people say that?! Even a Serbian person I knew said I sounded like a gypsy when I tried speaking Serbian. Is it because foreigners can’t pronounce the guttural throat sounds common in Slavic languages?

@ - Ahh I see, I thought they’d be able to pick up the accent (at least close to native level) throughout their early childhood in school. Slavic accents are really difficult, I think only Czech and Slovak sound softer or more gentler.
