I just filled out Factin Gaurdian and started using dup epics for food. Definitely gonna miss some of them for awhile especially the Genobo/s I fed

The value of a Sacred Shard just went up.

A fully empowered Vergis will have over 23k HP and 1700 defense, not counting ascension stats. He could very well become a solo king once again. Vrask's base HP will now be over 33k to power his healing ability. Toragi becomes a much better ally protection champ. Skullcrown, Sinesha, and Fahrakin just became a nasty combo again. Anchorite becomes a viable campaign farmer in addition to his utility elsewhere. And of course, Maneater...

It doesnt boost base stats for legendaries, so why would it for epics?

@@lolobrigitta5755 It really does not, do you know what base stats are? If I use a 60% attack boot on a champion with 1500 base atk, he will gain an extra 900. If I then empower this champion to +1 he will get 150 attack on top. If that was a BASE stat increase then the contribution from the boots would scale off 1650 and give 990 attack instead after the empowerment. This does not happen, I've tested it myself. If you have any legendaries you may easily test this by using the fitting room in the gear interface and see how % boosts scale.

Rares tho for sure, coldheart with extra survivability could really make a come back

I actually 6 starred my vogoth based off your video ash because i literally started with no healers. I had shaman for her revive in a shield set and kunoichi in life steal for her leech to try and carry me through most content starting out, then pulled a vogoth and omg I loved him lol. He helped me so much so thankyou again for shining the light on less utilized champs because lots of us don't have the Metas, but teaching us how to use what we have means so much.

Hey Ash, You’ve touched on how the team filters been a great source identifying faction specific champions , debuffs, etc. Thoughts on the filter adding which champions have complete artifact sets? More so complete curse sets, provoke to minimize the back and forth from collection to quick team builds. Appreciate everything you do for the raid community, more importantly the upmost respect to what you bring back into the world.

Awesome content as always! I’ve been playing for about 6 months, account level 57, 100% f2p. And I personally have a Gorlos Hellmaw ready to empower +1 the moment this goes live. He’s my best epic, and my only champion with a 6 star blessing. I’m beyond excited for that.

3.5 month old player here, ftp. Last 2x ancients my first 3 epics (out of 5 total) was 3xsanguinia. So it most def happens. I think one of the CC pulled tripple Miscreated Monster during the hell hades ftp challenge. For the most part i'd say its more valuable in most cases to fill out faction guardians. Atleast until you get to do a +2.

Agree for areas in DT for rare only rooms. Rare empowerment would be awesome too

+4 Oboro and Uugo for Hydra would be huge. I have a lot of criodan and a 6 star blessing for him. With crushing rend and a bit of dmg he could be help vs the fireknight waves. Royal guard, aniri, Shamael, Venom Mage, Vergis, Farakin and the list goes on. A +4 Criodan with 6 star blessing with full faction guardian is better than many baseline legendarys without all those stats.

At Champ Training events,I sometimes level Epic dupes that are in the Ring.When I pull duplicate Epics later,I check if there are leveled ones of the same Faction there.If so,I exchange them with the new one to level him on the next Train Event.The one already leveled gets to get leveled more to become a Chicken.So I never have the same Champs in there ....

Also - even the extra stats may cause the clan boss stun target to change....

@Slaadi no, stat’s do not affect whom the clanboss stuns…unless they are low enough health, he thinks he can 1shot. Buffs and team order are what determines who the clan boss will stun.

I have 5 seekers that I've been holding onto for a seeker speed dream team but I might consider combining them for a MEGA seeker

they should definitely add rare empowerment. just based on the fact that soooo many teams use ch, renegade, pain keeper, ect. these are champs that would be easier to build and fit better into teams if you could ease up the requirement for getting them to survive while still being able to do their jobs. sure some of them fit just fine but for early game/new players it would ease their burden just enough.

i watched alot of your vids when i first started out, about 1 year ago, and you talked about wanting epic empowerment, so i saved every single epic i pulled, and around 3 weeks ago i had alot of space issues so i got rid of all my dupes coz i didnt expect plarium so give us epic empowerment at this point. feel so bad

Similar here, but still its a plus and we still got use out of the chickens we used, wouldn‘t want to miss the champions I built with those epic chickens, think this way 🐔 😊

Been playing since the end of 2019 and I do have some duplicate epics sitting around (especially MVPs like geomancer), but unfortunately I used quite a few as chickens over the years.

The moment they announced legendry empower, I kept every epic I pulled since then as it was a no brainer that epics would be next. I have 456 dupes and I'm going to make sure that all my best champs are sitting in the guardian ring and I'll be making a whole lot of space as I enjoy making a bunch of +4's. What's left will be food or books.

Love the FENAX shoutout. He's actually become my #1 Arena nuker with his A1. I pair him with Armanz, Cardiel & Padraig and he takes out everyone. I have 1 dupe & unfortunately fed the other dupe I had. But He's definitely my #1 Epic to empower. I did just pull a 4* Soul for him as well!

I started playing Raid when Madame Serris came out, and I went over 1000 void shards dry before I ever pulled her. I was so frustrated and mad that I decided I'd just never use one as a chicken and thus I have 47 Madame Serris just sitting in the vault waiting to empower a good chunk of my 12x Madame Serris 3v3 defense team lol. It'll be nice to get that vault space back finally.

I started playing after the tormin fusion, so about 3 and a bit years.. do i have epics hanging around? Yes, was i stockpiling no. I also used many as 4-star chickens and books. Space is definitely a problem. I'm not sure how many useful epics i have for empowering bc i tended to use the "crap" ones as chickens. I'll have to check what I've got. GREAT psa about the empowereing vs. faction guardians AND the "this will screw your speed tuning" (same thing applies to getting a 6* from a shard or the shop. I just had to regear my Heiress bc i found her 6* split in the shop and figured why not. Did my cb key, then went to the optimizer/calculator regear).

Great vid fellas! Love the shout out about not empowering faction guardians. Would actually love your thoughts on a list of epic champs (if there are any) you would prioritise building multiple of before empowering!

I once pulled 3 Deacon’s within 20 ancients, and that was after I already had one maxed. Finally I have a use for the extra 3

+4 Fenax is in my near future for sure! I've kept every copy of him for as long as I've been playing and my faction guards for sacred order are already filled out. I'm PUMPED!!!

I have been playing since Sept 7, 2022. Without touching my faction guardians, I have the following dupes of (imo) noteworthy epics: - 7 seekers (I run 2 in my 3:1 CB team) - 4 Taogor (top 5 epic EASILY imo) - 3 Demytha - 5 Meaneater (I have 3 built tho) - 4 geomancer - 3 Fenax - 2 Gorgorab - 4 Seer (excited for this one for sure) - 3 Genbo - 4 captain temilia (for whoever she will empower) - 3 Faceless - 4 Whisper - 3 Uugo (3 built) - 3 Alure (3 built) - I have several dupes of other epics (some as many as 3. But they are not used anywhere near the ones I mentioned)

Since I'm not at the stage where I can empower leggos yet - is there any event that gives points for Empowerment? Wouldn't want to waste CVC or other points. Thanks for the vid guys! Would you recommend keeping a dupe of Stagknight? He's really good, but I don't remember anyone recommending to keep dupes of him in any videos I've watched - maybe good for some Sintranos stages?

think what could happen for new players if they were to empower uncommon champions as well such as Armiger, Shieldguard and Zephyr Sniper to aid dungeon areas for progression, this could also help new players in campaign.

I have a lot of dupes, due to doing training tournaments to the bare minimum. I tend to use rares more if I can help it, and luckily I have a tendency to feed the better epic dupes last so I have few stags, deacons, etc. I don't think I'll have many at +3 or +4, but I'll have a fair amount of +2

That Archmage might be key for the Cursed City level your working on!

Been playing around 1.5 years, and I am so ready to empower Miscreated Monster, Quargan the Crowned, and Stag Knight! I also have a spare Jarang, but not nearly as excited about that, lol.

does the stat bonus' from classic arena(great hall) carry to other areas of the game or just arena?

It applies everywhere not just arena that's why it's so important to fill out

im still early-mid game so dont have many dupes but i do have 3 orns and was looking at eventually just having him as a solo dungeoneer for when i want to just do runs while i work so this is great :)

I hate to say it, as I love HH Gaming, but Saph is very much talking end game when he says it's not going to be a big deal. I am level 100, but a very low spender, and I am thrilled to get this. I don't have any mythics, so him saying those are were the game is, is very narrow minded. But I have tons of dup epics and now I can turn some of those from holding down my vault, to being must use champs for my account. I don't have any meta nukers for arena, but I have a pretty good build for Genbo. Making him +4 is going to be awesome! Royal Guard at +4 is going to be a factor in Hydra (I think), because now he won't be so squishy. Burangiri stat requirements for solo are suddenly a lot easy to reach. This is going to be huge for people, unless you are a whale and very endgame.

Well Plaruim finally heard us saying we need more 5 star chickens, they said how about a 6 star chicken. ..

Playing 3.5 years and I don’t use epics as chickens, I was using some for skill ups early on but with over 200 epic skill books sitting around I’ve been hoarding epics for this someday and now I’ll be able to +4 over 60 epics right away

I have +2'd Dark Kael, Sammael, Royal Guard, and Zargala. +1's Geomancer, Uugo, and Mordecai I will absolutely +4 all those as soon I can. I can name a dozen others I will be doing as soon as I get dupes as well.

2 years in. I did not save Epics, so I'll be raiding my own Faction Guardians here and there to make a few empowered champs. The only two who I really care about are my 6-star Fenax and 5-star Whisper. They already hit like trucks, and all those stat boosts will help... sadly though, I only saved a single copy of each!

Genbo is my gold5 nuker with a 6star crushing rend. Will most likely be the first to empower. Has the juice to win most matches as is.... fully empowered should be insane.

Of course they finally rolled this out after I cleared out all my piles of dupes for skill ups last CvC lol. I don't see it so much as a method to keep up with higher tier champs and more like a solid reason to not be upset about a dupe epic. The bonus stats are just a nice little bonus to make what was a useless pull into something more valuable. I'm hoping a few choice empowerments will push me finally for the last 4m or so on clan boss for 1 key ultra nm personally.

I built Gerhard a long time ago but once Archmage was introduced to the game his increase crit buff is redundant.

I've been playing 3 years now, and free to play the whole time.. keep up the good work.

TBH im shocked they did the same empowement as LEGO's i thought it was going to be limited to +2 for epics instead of +4. SO GLAD they gave it all! NOW JUST ADD RARE EMPOWERMENT!

playing since the deliana freebie, I have never once fed an epic, I have 900~ champ slots open, I knew they would do something at some point, I cant wait for champion leveling to not be a nightmare of dealing with 8 open slots again.

I find my Fenax useful in arena still. His A1 hits very hard and prevents revives. My opponents will try to stop his A2 or A3, but his A1 is where he excels, you can't stop him.

Im so stoked on the epic empowerment! Cant wait to pump my epics to +4

i got zero dupes right now aside from the ones on my faction guardians... i think i didn't even heard about they changing their mind about empower epics... so i used all of my epic dupes for either books or chickens... but as a f2p player you always get enough dupes thanks to going for the fusions so i am not really punching myself about it...

playing since late 2019, anticipated this would happen for a long time, have over 14 epics ready to +4

I've have never looked more forward to an update than now for raid, Ive been telling the devs to do this since they let us empower the lego's.

I have saved a few epics. Not because of empowerment hopes, but they are great as 4 star chickens and I used them for fusions.

I think empowering epics will help more with PVE stuff. However old school arena teams with sine and skullcrown could be ok. I’ve got a 6 star blessing Geo waiting to be a +4.

I've been playing for about a year and a half and I still don't even have faction guardians filled... So no dups to spare right now lol

I'd love to see Rare empowerment. I have so many Coldhearts sitting in the vault...
