Nice tip about the faction guardians, lots of people forgot that

I agree with the priority of faction guards, but when you factor in the ascending option with soul stones, I think keeping copies of epics is always viable, unless you are desperate for chickens.

Good point. The overall point of the video is think before you empower. With all the rush to "empower these epics" I think there was a chance to miss other factors. I know there are several champs I'll always want at least 3 copies of (Shamael, Uggo specifically), and others keeping a pair is nice.

The problem with guardians is the space they take up. I've been generally feeding dupes as books already - and just using as chickens - unless I want to keep multiples.

I've given up on guardian rares a long time ago except for Dark Elves. I use too many Dark Elf rares regularly, so the bonus stats help there, but otherwise, faction guardians are epics and above, and ideally only for champions I'm using anyway when possible. We do need more non-vault champion space.

I generally throw all food into guardians as I play Wait: Shadow legends. If a time comes when I need a faction stronger, I figure I can just not use those food as I handle a given challenge - but I just finished Faction Wars without really doing so. Some of the secret rooms and a fair amount of Sintranos is still left to challenge there. I'll probably also decide there are certain epic factions I need to stock up on, but it feels like the power creep is making them less and less important for the core game functions.

This is all where it really does depend on your account. Perception (or accuracy) set is what you need hitting 500+ accuracy on most accounts, but how hard it is will depend on where your account is, where your great hall is, and many other factors than just the +40 Accuracy for empowering. I just wanted to make sure players stopped and thought about which champs they empowered before rushing in. But the struggle can be real to hit those high accuracy numbers, particularly for accounts trying to progress into content for the first time.
