This was a neat experiment! I used to run meph on bnet a lot joining into games that were already killing bosses so they'd have high player count, and I never saw him drop a ber, or any high-rune for that matter. Great find!

I remember way back in the day my friend who actually got me into D2 would farm the sht out of Mephisto when he started on ladder. Man the gear he had on his main and mule accounts was actually insane. He decked me tf out lol

Amazing story! i remember how my friend introduce me to d2. i upped dual swing barb till this day i remember how tough was Duriel :D at the time i didn't knew thawing potion :D

Playing over 1,5 year on single player and found only one arach…also eth. Unlucky :D
