That is so amazing - they have proprioception in their horns, and they show respect by moving their horns away from you. Such sweet loves. I am officially in bovine love with this breed.
@GoldenToiletAngel
3 жыл бұрын
how does it show respect? I seriously do not see the logic here. when I am standing next to someone and they move their arm, I move myself out of the way as well, that has nothing to do with me being respectful towards a stranger. to be precise, I find this conclusion of yours to be a bit contrived. it seems like that's what you want to see, but that's not necessarily what you are actually observing.
Such a magnificent animal. This guy truly loves him.
I'm astonished to hear how well aware they are of their horns in this way. I knew cattle are intelligent but I did not know that their intelligence went so far as to their awareness of their horns in that manner. Makes me love Hamish and Kyloe even more♥️

I remember watching Mythbusters test the bull in a china shop saying and proving it false. The bull ran through "shop" they had set up and it never touched a shelf or broke a single piece of china they had lying about. It was amazing.
I’d always wondered, but it makes sense that they’d know where the ends of their horns are. It’d be an evolutionary fail if they developed long horns, but then got them caught and stuck on everything.
