Definitely, it helps when you're also familiar with the car.

It actually is pretty clean. I mentioned that while I was recording but I ended up cutting that out of the video lol
Great video that shows a lot of very good info!

Always lol. I noticed that as well
Thanks God there are no emissions tests here. I think the only thing that would pass out of our five cars would be the wife's 2013 civic. I keep it maintained like new

Testing sucks but it does help to keep some dangerous cars off the road

Cars older than ten years have to pass a safety test before anyone will insure it but it’s pretty basic. Just make sure all the lights work, brakes work, muffler isn’t falling off…
Where did you get the adapter for the smoke machine used in the video? Or is this something you made? Thanks

Yes AESwave has many great diagnostic tools 👍
When parking on a hill, set the brake 1st !! THEN put it in 'PARK'. As a harbormaster, I saw this all the time, often with a boatload on the trans.

The problem is over here people go years or literally never engage their parking brake. So if they tried to use it for the first time it either doesn't work or after they engage it it doesn't want to disengage because everything is rusted in place.

@@themechanic6117 I know people who have the same issue with brains. Never use it, it rusts. Then they try to think and ... brain damage.

@@themechanic6117 I work at an auto parts store and it can be ... interesting. BMW people seem to be the most difficult. And the people who think they are experts, even when it's obvious they are wrong.

🤣 I believe you. I don't like dealing with people who drive bmw or Mercedes, thank God I normally don't work on those cars.
My s10 is taking forever to do catalyst and o2 tests. Will the fact that it has mil on for an evap test failure prevent it from doing those other tests?
@themechanic6117

Yes it will , fix the evap problem and the car can run the tests on the other items.

@themechanic6117 I've actually had multiple codes before. Actually I think that I still had mil on for a slow warm up when the evap code popped up. If I clear the evap code it always does that test again before doing the others. I'd like it to do the others since I replaced cat and all 3 o2 sensors. Based on at least 3 videos I'm suspecting a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor but my scanner can't measure its voltage so have to schedule something with my mechanic. He did confirm vent clicks previously.
Turd equal money😂😂
