Very pretty
¡Genial! Como siempre. Te sigo hace mucho tiempo, y no dejas de asombrarme. Gracias por dejarnos participar en tu arte.
Thank you, this is very helpful!
Thanks! I have tried (unsuccessfully) to recreate jade, but I never thought about crayons! I’ll give that a try! ❤❤❤
Samantha, you read my mind. I’ve been wanting to try and make jade for a while but didn’t know how to do it. Thank you so much
So beautiful. Thank you for teaching us. ❤❤
I love your faux stone tutorials!
I really like your stone duplications!
You did an amazing job recreating the Jade. ❤
Wow that looks so realistic. Great tutorial!!
You are pretty close on the name. It's aventurine
thanks 🙏✨🧡
Does incorporating wax into the clay effect the properties of the clay? For example does the clay become brittle or maybe harder? I know liquids and powers are added. I am new to this art and am still learning. The finished pieces look beautiful.

Great question, I don't have an answer but hopefully someone will reply with an answer ;)

I've used crayons to color the clay a number of times. It doesn't weaken it so long as the clay is thicker than 4mm and the crayons that have been mixed in are tiny. Larger pieces would create fissures and would effect the strength.
Great tutorial! You are spot on with your colors! Could you please say what crayons those were? They came in such a nice variety of shades.

I used crayola crayons
I've used alcohol ink in the past to make faux jade, but I'm told it fades badly after awhile. I'd love to try the crayons, but where can you buy specific colors? Amazon sells crayons in 1 shade of green, which may or may not be dark enough. To get other shades of green, you have to buy a 96 color pack.

I haven't been able to buy specific colors - not that I know of. I had the pack lying around and used them. You can also use pastels.
What brand of translucent clay are you using?

Premo, but Cernit works really well too.
Ciao bellissimi i tuoi tutorial, per favore mi dici quanto li tieni nel forno e a quale temperatura?
