As a guy who was raised Christian by an abusive father, you guys deserve at least representation. But not token representation. Real representation. I grew up in a mostly South Asian community in a suburb of Vancouver, Canada, and I'm a 41 year old guy who wasn't in comic books at any time, but I gave this a chance and felt like I was back in high school hanging out with my Pakistani and Indian friends. Iman is so Canadian and you can just see the wonder and appreciation in her eyes. Seeing the world through this character's eyes was just incredible. You should be very proud. This isn't about tokenism or representation for its own sake. If you're going to do it, don't just have a Muslim character for the sake of having a Muslim character. Make her believable. I'm just a dumb white guy, but I bought her Islamic experience because I knew kids like her in high school, trying to balance their faith with just fitting in and being a normal kid. As someone who had a very strict upbringing of my own, that resonated with me. I almost saw the world through her eyes. She's trying to be a normal teenager, but one of her parents isn't entirely sold on that - at all. I don't subscribe to any faith now, but I deeply respect people trying to be who they are while maintaining their background as much as they can. She's fantastic.

It was a title awarded to persons of eminence, including both Muslims and Hindus, during the Mughal Empire. It was also used as a title by military commanders responsible for four separate forces, including the cavalry, navy, infantry and elephant corps.These people belonged to the zamindar families in British India, that got separated in 1947 into two different countries Hindustan and Pakistan on the basis of religion and their distinct values . Anyone can be a Muslim if he believes that there's no God but Allah Almighty and holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the last messanger of Allah (SWT) and submits his will to Allah (SWT) by following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). So you can also be a Muslim. Names doesn't matter but one has to change his name if it's meaning is bad and contradicts with the teachings of Islam. And I guess Chaudhry is a good name so Muslims aquired it too. I hope you got it and please don't spread hate. Humanity comes first that's what Islam teaches us and I guess every religion including Hinduism.
