Again some clips of the Ilur Classique sailing dinghy 275 - shot around Langweer (Netherlands). Featuring my over 80-year-old parents!
Short note: I make these videos not to show off ;-) but because I sense that a lot of people view such movies to to get some sailing calm, just by watching. So, there are never enough sailing videos on YT!

Nice video. One of the few bits of Friesian I picked up is "Netsa Skaef" (spelling?) because that's what my Mom yelled at my Grandad. She is normally quite relaxed so the volume managed to overcome my language learning impediment.

mighty fine video! While the Ilur happily digs in at quite a heel angle, she will sail faster when you ease off and reduce the angle a bit... even though it does look very cool.
You are the first to show Ilur from all sides like this! Thank you! Absolutely great!
Is your motor the long shaft version? Might get one for my Minahouet.

@@Batlaw1 yes it is. But then still it comes out of the water when I am in the front of the boat, near the mast to hoist the sails. I am considering to install a podmotor in the skeg…
