("ain't that the truth") :) I've looked at a dozen videos trying to get a basic understanding of ILS layout, operation, function and what the flight crew can actually see on the display. I was on Comet-4Bs as cabin crew while I was learning to fly way back in the 1960s, (that didn't work out, the medics decided I was blind and deaf at 22 years of age?) But it was a fun period in my life. Uniquely this presenter has managed to convey as an educational everything that is dependent for its success on conveying understanding; not swamped at the beginning by unwanted noise that the video editors want to call introduction-music...."Wow"...............

I was on a 737 that landed at Newark at Christmastime one year when the fog was so thick that we couldn't see the ground until we were on the ground.
