But what they don't explain is that it's not armenia on his land. Ethnic armenians lived on that land for thousands of years. They voted to separate from azerbaijan (land was 80%+ ethnic Armenians). They attacked their own people and Armenia backed them up because they were ethnic armenians in the region.

This interview was full of lies. Aliyev wants to exterminate and takeover more Armenian land. He has leverage because of natural gas and oil pipelines. Armenians have already had much of their land stolen which had natural resources, which are lining the pockets of oligarchs and fueling much of Europe. Everyone is/has been benefitting except Armenia. The continuous generational oppression must stop. This was a premeditated attack by Azerbaijan and Turkey.

I am an Armenian but first I am a human being and I strongly believe in human rights of all. I think in the resolution of this conflict is very simple, before 1990 as soviet union closed, Armenians and Azerbaijanis were living in peace and calm together in the same territory, now that they got their own freedoms, everything changed, I suggest we sit on the same table, create a comitee that will study the case involving some historians from Armenians and Aderbeijanis and others and see how this disputed sector was created, who did it really belong to, what is the present population, and come back with proposals of spliting the land accordingly and peace will be established for all. May be all these left over small countries after soviet Union clash, like Aderbeijan, Armenia, Georgia etc. should get back together and form a united councel to solve all problems unilaterally and lead to a new and successfull region. This is may be a dream, but who knows, may be the next generation will have more brains than ours today...

There is no question the NK region belongs to Azerbaijan. The only ones questioning this are the Armenians. if they had the muscle and support ( Like Russia in Ukraine, or India in Occupied Kashmir, or Israel In Palestine) they could have had what they wanted. Remember, there is no international support for the annexation of NK.

As much as I am sad for the Armenian people to have to go through this difficult times to defend what was theirs for centuries, I am also sad for the Azerbaijan people to be the victim of their dictator and not be able to speak up. Creating nationalism on inaccurate historical information makes your own people look ignorant. It also demonstrates incompetence as a leader, to have no other way but to go to war to gain popularity as all other tentative were a failure. Azerbaijan will never strive with leaders similar to this one, and its people will always be victims. As an Armenian, I wish you will one day experience true democratic government and appreciate the positive outcomes of it.

this is wrong in so many ways I dont know what to say one should be truthful to oneself before stating opinions, azerbaijani turks are not unhappy about the current situation they are liberating occupied land with unmanned military equipment there are literally no stakes for azerbaijan. lilas buddy are you sure your people can lift the weight of your losses in this war? you said armenians protecting centuries old lands aren't you forgetting a huge chunk of history and overestimating yourself?

when I went to Kashmir and was asking the local population. Literally a third of people wanted to be part of India, a third of people wanted to be part of Pakistan and a third of people wanted to be a separate state. I thought this is never going to get solved.

You are deeply concerned about the establishment of peace in that conflicted war victim area of the Middle East which shares an old and shared history of peaceful coexistence even before it was named as Armenia and Azerbaijan. It has habitation of human even during the period of Roman empire and Mesopotamian era which has historical connections with Indus Valley Civilization and other continents of this globe. Although there had been conflict on the basis of anthropogenic classification of human society on the basis of caste, creed and religion as it also prevails in our modern days across the globe in contemporary era too. It is also evident to remark that there was peace before initiation of this armed conflict. Isn't it? We have to understand the limitation of human society and capacity to regulate the autonomous system of the nature. There will living things on this planet Earth even before the evolution of the human beings. It is remarkable that none of the Other living species except human had ever fought any war. Isn't it? It is also remarkable that even before the foundation of the United Nations; there where existence of peace reconciliation mechanism. It is also remarkable that both of the elected representative of the sovereign Republic Nation state of Armenia and Azerbaijan must be negotiating and maintaining peaceful family environment with their kins and relatives without any use of armed power. Isn't it a reality? It is also remarkable that various ambassadors of different states existing in Armenia and Azerbaijan are also aware about the consequences and adverse effect of this war and their impact on the psychological wellbeing of the people across the globe. Even the resident coordinators of the United Nations of the both countries Armenia and Azerbaijan must be reporting to their supervisors about reconciliation of peace. I have recently observed that the general secretary of the United Nations also spoke about immediate declaration of ceasefire and speedy implementation of the humanitarian activities in affected area as well as ethical obedience of the the Geneva Protocol of War. It would be better for all of the elected representative of the Nations to recognise that on the level of their responsibility towards the fellow human beings whom they are representing; to ensure socio-economic and emotional environment for peaceful existence. It is remarkable that every moment spent in war kill humen. As per my perception about the existing system of governance in both of the countries; the elected president and prime ministers are being briefed on daily basis by their commanding officer incharge for executing war related activities on behalf of their respective countries. They must be evaluating its impact on the basis of economy. Global goodwill loss of human life and its further consequences on the development of their respective countries. They are ethically and morally bound to resolve this conflict. They have no right as a human to fight on behalf of the statement and testaments of their cultural identification. Multi stakeholders initiatives through the peace negotiation dialogues of the diplomat and the other peace workers and stakeholders could bring establishment of the favourable environment for peace dialogue and declaration of the ceasefire by both of the countries. There is an urgent need of interventions for multilateral discussions and presentation of the war report in presence of both of the state representatives on virtual conference with the selected officials from United Nations, World Health Organisation, United Nations Human Rights Council, International Court of Justice and eminent religious leaders from both of the termed religion of Islam and Christianity. I had been through the religious world history and found that Prophet Muhammad where also found of Jesus Christ. Isn't it? Respected pope of Catholic and orthodox churches as well as the head of the religious congregation of the Islam must come forward to negotiate for Restoration of peaceful relationship between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Although there must be political opponents of the elected government in both of the countries; they should support their respective government for speedy resolution of this armed conflict. Isn't it? I am praying to God for wellbeing of of your relatives in-laws and fellow citizen of Armenia and Azerbaijan. May God transform the consciousness of the people capable of resolving this armed conflict to come together to do so at their earliest. Amin🙏 ॐ शांति शांति शांति। Amin! Peace💐Peace💐 Peace 💐

@@alidemir6780 A good leader ? Azerbaijan has oil and unlike Armenian is not blockaded. Azerbaijan and turkey have been blockading Armenia for almost 30 years. As of January 2021, minimum salary in Azerbaijan is of 250 Azeri manats, or roughly $150. The minimum salary in Baku is considerably higher, although the rate is nationwide.

@@helluvastart I wonder why armenia is in blockade? Aliyev offered many times to help develop armenia if they retreat from where they have invaded. He even offered 6 B $ to Serj Sarkisyan. Sarkisyan declined that offer. They wanted all, they lost it all. And all this blockage for 30 years meant nothing.
