They have put in a lot of additional venues since the last time, I was there ( early 2020). The development is amazing. It has become even more recommendable as it seems. Feeling a bit "Cebu-homesick" now.

That area looks so nice! Much nicer than the Manila MOA walk IMHO. 😁 Definitely adding this to our list. We're planning our trip next year. We're going to add a stop or 2 while we're in Asia. My dear husband wants to visit Australia & Singapore. The kids want to visit Japan and Indonesia. 😄. One thing I'm surprised is I don't see any Christmas decor. It's the start of the "ber" months which signals the start of Christmas season. I know many outside Pinas doesn't understand it and say it's too early, but that's the Philippine tradition. I hope Pinas doesn't become too Westernized. Thanks again Chris and Jo for taking us along with you! Ingat lagi! 😊

Looks to be a very nice area. Lots of places to eat too. Reminds me of our trips to Daytona Cocoa & St Pete, FL but I imagine much lower cost. Have a good time.

@@CarefreeChris I think the hunter is probably a better choice there because of the seat (can carry 2 people better) and the 401 is very tall, I’m only 5 foot 8 so it would be right on the edge of being able to flatfoot.

Yes. I really missed that camera. I've gotten so use to filming with it and not having it for the past several weeks has been really challenging.
Nice walk&talk video. Great wide-angle views while walking and shows what to expect. I really like that camera--great wide views showing a lot of what's around you plus the post-editing to show the different view directions (front, back, sides) as desired for presentation in the final video to post.

Wow, I think they should expect success for that boardwalk and build a multi story parking garage. Land is too precious to have ground level parking only.

Hello 👋
How do you know if the water is ok to drink, wherever you are? Some of these drinks might have crushed ice, for example. The locals might be immune to some mild degrees of contamination. I was always unsure what to trust, but am wondering how other western travelers manage the risk.

I haven't had any issue with the water. I don't drink it but have had ice in restaurants, wash rice and brush teeth. Knock on wood.:)
@1100_Rebels

The days of crushed ice made of water from the faucet are long gone. That was usually done in the 1980s and 90s. And it often ended for the foreign visitors in the bathroom for hours. Today, crushed ice is made of water from the refilling stations, where they clean it by reverse osmosis. Restaurants in the malls get their ice from these sources. It could become an issue, if you eat in those small native eateries in the rural areas. They still might produce their crushed ice from faucet water to save on costs
Drone shots would be nice.😂

@@CarefreeChris You can fly your drone there, no probs. We flew a couple of times without running into problems. But we were there very early in the morning, with only the joggers and bikers running up and down that long "runway". And we kept the drones over the water. Filming with the drone at the "golden hour" captures impressive, fantastic views of the area. Disadvantage: Shops are still closed
how come the camera looks like it is floating?
