Hi Chris, I just turned 61 and my wife left me a year ago and just started entertaining the idea of moving abroad. I have time to take my time to research. I don’t meet many foreigner couple but see them every now and then. I also get the occasional female viewer asking about life here as a single woman. I don’t know that prospective but would imagine it’s not bad provided you have the right mindset. Independent, easy going, friendly…

Dang it Chris! You've got me reconsidering my plans bro! Cebu seems to have a really modern atmosphere with excellent amenities. I was thinking of going a bit more rural, but that might not have the conveniences that I enjoy doing daily. Looks like I'll have to branch out to get a better idea of where I'll truly feel comfortable living. Appreciate the variety of info you show on your vlogs.

I'm big fan of Cebu City. I also liked the Metro Manila area too. What I like more about Cebu City though is easy access to more of the Philippines via ferry with my motorcycle.

Cebu is the middle ground mate....further south less cosmopolitan it gets....try cebu first its easier to navigate

It’s so easy to get phone numbers in person at the local food market or just walking around, then you can avoid the fake app profiles or at least the filtered pics. Saves lots of time. You’ll be on a date that night. It’s beyond easy.

About Bumble - yes, I would use it in North America, but given that many Filipinas are shy and don't want to make the first move, how does that work? The purpose of Bumble is to let women take the lead, but most Filipinas want the man to lead.

Good decision to date a Filipina or future partner because they are conservative, serious about relationship, they take care of you. For example, cook for you when you get home from work, household chores, and Kids. Majority of Filipinas do that but not saying all.

Yeah socials are cool but sometimes may occur the opposite of what are created for.The province are great but lot jealous and as the song says: "Finished with my woman 'cause She couldn't help me with my mind" It depends where you are looking for. There are 🗑️, 🍺, 🌲, 🏠 places. Definitely you need a woman that she can follow you and not enchain you to her world. This is the difficult part. Mostly for you are over 32 not so westernized, mature enough to understand and follow your lifestyle. Is it needed to get married?

I think that’s a pretty big misconception. It’s somewhat true in the province areas but not case in larger more metropolitan areas like Cebu City and Manila. They’re so use to foreigners in those areas

I tried POF and Ok Cupid in the US, it was hit or miss, at about a 90% rate of miss. 🙄 That said, I did hook up some, but later on wish I hadn’t! 🤣 I tried Bumble here in Mexico without much success. I had no idea there was FB dating, so thanks for that. Really, really, really, important to me, can I spec that I'm looking for a chick that likes to ride??? I'm normally against those apps since women online are usually like fast food menu. Meaning the pictures show a thick, fresh and hearty sandwich. When you get your plate, it's a flat, stale and unappetizing sandwich. lol Two good things about apps tho: 1. If she lets you play with her phone and poke around, she's likely not hiding anything. 2. You can create an alternate profile or have a buddy of yours seek her. If she bites, you know you gotta dump her. If you have long term goals.

I'll go into it more but I feel dating apps are a great option for larger areas or socially awkward folks like myself who struggle asking women out. #2 is something I've heard a couple of people suggest.

I think the Rockstar avenue is a little misleading. We’re sought after for sure but I meet a lot of guys who actually struggle meeting women, myself included. I find these dating apps a great resource for me to date and not worry about trying to pickup or offend the wrong Filipina.

@@CarefreeChris your personal experience does not mean it is true for the vast majority... That's the whole point why we have Statistics and survey... There were about 8 million foreigner visitors in 2019, and only 15k end up with interracial marriage🤣....that number does not look good at all...
