Yeah, they ended up losing the war, but g'damned the Krauts had the coolest weapons, and their use of cammo was way ahead of everyone else. This winter paint is awesome and probably was very helpful for the poor SOB who had to fly these ducks. They were OK in 1939, but by 1941-42 they were lambs of the sky.

Except for Hans Rudel he had over 500 tank kills alone, sank a battleship and heavy cruiser, killed over 200 armored vehicles and mobile guns but only shot down like 3 aircraft. He was shot down in his JU87G twice behind enemy lines loosing one of his legs in one crash and still continued flying a JU87G until the end of the war. I'm willing to bet it was his rear gunner who actually shot the 3 planes down since it's slower than fighter aircraft so the rear gunner had his work cut out for him. He also tried to reform a Nazi party for years after the war ended. He was one of Hitlers favorite pets due to the high number of kills. Hitler needed Heros for his propaganda machine (Which is very similar to the modern day fake Democratic propaganda machine).

I was wondering, what are your gamma settings in-game? When I play on winter maps the snow is really bright and sometimes makes it difficult to spot things on the ground, but in this video it looks just right.

You showed a strangely beautiful side to something that will never be called beautiful, at least by those who have fought. It was almost contemplative, until those butt munch Stuka drivers ruined the ambiance! I laughed at their antics but it was apparent you were still getting the hang of it. I'm late to this party but thanks, I enjoyed the vid.

The 109s encountered plenty of single-seat IL-2 variants and it was a massacre. Historic records tell us that there were hundreds of aircraft lost due to green pilots, lack of defensive armament and poor initial armor coupled with an underwhelming engine. Throughout the first two years of service the IL-2 was extremely poorly produced because women and children were put on half-assembled factory lines in syberia to put them together. IL-2 was poorly defended, piloted and produced. Afterwards, in 1943 and on, it became the flying menace that it is known for. Rear gunner, extreme armor, heavy gun armament and an entire barrage of bombs and rockets. It could rain fire from the sky whilst remaining invulnerable to enemy ground fire. Improved tactics and production quality as well as front-line influenced upgrades made the IL-2 a fucking death reaper of the frontlines. They would come in a dozen, strafe the target with all they had to give and then growl at chasing fighters with accurate defensive fire whilst absorbing incoming damage with thick armor. A masterpiece of engineering. A real hero of the Great Patriotic War.

If the explosions were made just a little more realistic, the tanks especially like the animation going off and how fire shoots like I guyser out of the top, I mean it's sick already but that would top it off.

2000 hours of flight over the Soviet ... the book by Ulrich Rudell and survived the war after destroying 513 Soviet vehicles, in addition to bridges, barges (these last in Stalingrad), that once trying to save colleagues shot down his plane I can not take off and was wounded and persecuted by the Russians for 3 km to the German lines, which reached after crossing a river in which his co-pilot drowned and also in the siege of Sevastopol destroyed the battleship Marat with an exceeded bomb in weight, that man made his own with the little maneuverable stuka with 37 mm guns in the fairing of the wheels, this man had a maximum "only who gives up is lost".

the sturmoviks would've formed into a loose defensive ring, that was standard practice by the time the 109G was in service. in fact i wonder if any 109G's ever encountered that early-war single-seat version of the IL-2.

These guys should add some tank gameplay, and finally make some solid competition to war thunder. Which is at the moment only sim game combining plane and tank gameplay.

They have quite recently innovated tank gameplay too. Type IL-2 tank crew in the search and enjoy the fine looking Pz IIIs, IVs and VIs(Tiger) as well as KV-1s, T-34s and lots of other tanks and armored personnel carriers and many more!

I thought Ju87 tank busters only 6 rounds /75mm 4 each gun, maybe I'm wrong!

Rhinemetall Borsig BK 3,7 37mm cannon. Originally firing 6 rounds each gun. They were later up graded to fire either 8 or 12 rounds. Another German aircraft you'll find this 37mm cannon fitted to is the Henschel HS 129 Tank Buster. The 37mm fired Tungsten tipped,high velocity explosive rounds.

Thanks, Aliens Are Cool. My Old rig had two NVidea Video Cards.. and 8 MG of ram. I need to get another, I had all this software too but the US ARMY lost lost my stuff.. they lost the shipping container shipping my trailer full of personal stuff to another camp... when they close Camp Victory....and NEVER FOUND it. MY guess is the ARMY guys in charge of the operation stole it. Maybe? Great talking to you frog man ...

Thumbs up and thumbs down. Your flight skills are impressive, but after seeing a number of these videos from a variety of contributors I never see the enemy mount a coordinated attack or even an uncoordinated attack. It's just a shooting gallery. Great practice, but I I'd like to see you get shot down a few times. If I were playing, I'd be disappointed if that didn't happen about 50% of the time. More than that if I were new to the game. But I thank you as well. Through these videos, I do appreciate how tedious and unpleasant the task is of killing fellow farmers and fellow factory workers from other countries for the sake of despotic leaders. PS. Send me a link where you get your ass kicked. Happy contrails!
