@@way2saturn IGCSE is like the ordinary level and A Levels are Advanced levels.. If you have a good understanding of the igcse you would be able to do AS but its definitely a bit advanced and A2 is more advanced.. Which is the second year. But studying and working harder.. It should be fine.

I have 9 subjects and less than a month left to revise 😢 I was predicted for A in biology but recently doing past papers my scores dropped SIGNIFICANTLY like 12-20 mark gaps from before. What should I do 😭 Same goes for geography… 😅

My advice is to not worry or panic too much because that actually happened to me too. Just keep doing past papers consistently and practice more on the questions you don't understand. It'll be alright in the actual exam!

I love your tips but for the first one to streamline your notes.. how do we know that information is imporant in exams cuz most of the time I make notes but I included unnecessary ones so how do we figure the information is necessary?

This is a good question! I didn't know which parts were important too when I first started IGCSE. So you'll only be able to know which parts are important after you've completed your first exam and have exposure to how the past papers look like. Then, you'll find out which information's frequently asked in past papers and that will be the necessary info.

Thanks for sharing, Heather. May I know if you had to attend tuitions for some subjects or did you just have to attend your school for IGCSE preparation?

Hey, thank you for sharing your IGCSE tips videos, by the way, I just have some doubts about the syllabus which I need to get clarified as soon as possible. - When they mention for eg: describing the role nervous system as the coordination and regulation of body functions, does it mean that the only things I need to know about the role of a nervous system are coordination and regulation of body functions? - When they mention for eg: describing Brownian motion in terms of random collisions between microscopic particles and particles in a liquid or gas, does it mean that these words must be there in your answer to a question asking about describing Brownian motion?

For the first question: Well it's true that the things you need to know about the role of nervous system are fall into the category of coordination and regulation of body functions if we sum it all up but it's best to not leave any part of your textbook and try to learn everything about nervous system that's in your textbook. Second question: It's not exactly a must to have those specific words in your answer. You just have to describe it using the theory of "random collision between microscopic particles and particles in a liquid or gas". You don't lose marks for not having those keywords but you mostly do need to use those words to describe it. I hope this helps!

If you don't have time, it's better you just do the past papers from your variant first. BUT I still suggest you to do all the variants for the recent years like 2022-2024.

Hello! I'm currently not doing my A levels but to answer your question, you can actually go to any university with O levels -- not just Cambridge. A lot of universities accept IGCSE O levels but you might need to finish A level or do further courses like OSSD, UCUK or take SAT exams to enroll.

OFCC Honestly, 8 years is just because I have enough time to finish all which is why I did 8 years worth of past paper. 5 years' already a lot so it's totally enough to get an A*

@@heathz5733 did you get consistent 90%s when doing past papers or were there times where you'd get lower, and how did you revise your notes? recently, i've just been doing past papers and i seem to be only getting around 45-48 / 75 marks

@@joshuavillanueva2848I don't always get around 90%, it varies from 70% 90%. I wanted to get above 90 in my final exam so I marked all the past papers where I got less than 90% and practice them again. I also marked the questions I got wrong so that I can try to do them frequently. If you keep getting lower marks, you could try to find out which area you need to study more and study the notes on that area again
