Hi! Glad you enjoyed, I think if you're starting Y11 soon, prioritize the subjects that you need for uni and the subjects that you are struggling with most. If you haven't already, go through your specification and tick off the bullet points you are confident in and star the ones you aren't so familiar with. Also, make a list of all the topics that you find challenging for each subject and go through past papers and write down the chapters that come up often- use that as a starting point, don't start from chapter 1. From then on, do as many past papers as possible up until your exams. In terms of study tips, try to study "actively" (e.g. doing past papers, turning your specification into questions and answering them, flash cards, teaching a concept to a friend etc.) as opposed to passive methods (e.g. highlighting, reading your textbook etc.) Hope that helped :)
the best.take care

@@thewaffle2570 Well personally when I was doing GCSE I made notes for all my subjects and always had a pen and paper to write stuff down I kept forgetting. In hindsight, it wasn't a very effective use of my time (I make flashcards now), but if there are certain things you need to memorise like the results of experiments in chemistry, I would just make tables and try and fill them out without looking at the answers. If you find it really difficult, then try doing once a day until it sticks in your long term memory!

Hey I had a question, how do I prepare for MCQs of Biology, Physics and chemistry like how many past papers shall I do and shall I revise just like for theory paper?
hey dude, that's the same mistake i made, i have my exams in May and our school never really paid attention to specifications, but after watching ur video, i looked through my specification and realized how easy it is when everything that u need to know is mentioned in there. now i have my exams in may for 2 subjects only, should i read the textbooks and do past papers? or should i focus on only the topics that are mentioned in the specification? I mean books often contain a lot of information that u don't need to know for the exam, so would u advise me to look through the spec, learn only those topics, and do past papers to try and get a 9?

Hi Emanuele, of course, mind maps are really great for linking concepts together! If it works well for you, then I think you should keep using them. Make sure to use your specification and integrate the bullet points into your notes! Also, in terms of memorizing, maybe try keeping a notepad/some paper next to you and write key ideas/things you forget instead of just reading as that will get your brain to actively engage with the content which will help with retention!
