If you gonna spend that much then they need to match your texture instead of matching your hair to the texture. That way when your hair gets wet...the extension will curl like your hair. Otherwise...your hair gets wet and curls and theres straight strands sticking out. If they match your texture...it would be worth it. When I sew in tracts...I always get curly hair...cuz I have curly hair. If it gets wet....it still matches MY hair. I don't have to flatiron my hair to match extensions. Tape in only differ from tracks by the application method. Tape ins are designed to blend in with existing texture to provide fullness and length. If you want a different texture, a better choice would be to braid down the natural hair and do a sew in of the desired texture.

Try using a wax stick over the hair once you've straightened it with a heat protector to avoid heat damage. The wax stick/heavyweight product, should act as a anti-humidity resistant barrier. Use a soft bristle brush to brush the product into the leave out section,to help blend it into the weave. If your hair is super stubborn, try applying the wax stick to each section. You don't need to cake it,a little goes a long way. "Bed Head" is a good brand or "TIGI". Been qualified since 2005,if that helps to reassure you. ❤

Your natural hair was beautiful already. 😍
