I love you for your authentic reaction, brother! We really take our freedom for granted. Those protests in Iran were ignited by the death of a girl named Mahsa Amini. She was beaten to death for not wearing her hijab (head scarf) the right way. Yes, you read correctly. She was killed over an f'ing dress code. And they beat her to death about it. And now people are taking to the streets. But this is not about a dress code anymore. We are talking about a revolution in the most powerful country in the Middle East. The song that Ifa is covering as a mental version was created by an Iranian called Shervin. Shervin got arrested 2 days after he wrote the song which hit 40 million clicks on Insta in 2 days. The song is basically reading out people's tweets, wishing for things. Baraye means "for". Check out the original song "Baraye" from Shervin. Peace to you!

The original version of this song(baraye) is from Shervin Hajiaghapour ,when he released it he got arrested by Iran government,after that baraye song is played by many singers with many versions. But the best version is the original version by Shervin himself . Thanks for being our voice🥰

Lots of love to you, dear Fatima. As you can see, Shervin's song is sooooo good that Ifa started her professional music career with a cover of it :) And I know personally that Ifa is in love with the original song and would never claim that her version is better. It is interesting that Shervin's version makes you sad, while the same words in the metal version energize you and give you goosebumps.

valie-e-asr street🎶 ( due to recent sever drought many of old trees in capital city Tehran specially valie-e-asr street are dead or dying ) for the sake of pirooz and possibility of extinction of its species 🎶( pirooz was an astatic cheetah cub given the name pirooz meaning victories in Persian because he was the only one in the litter that survived, it was the first time there was a successful birth in captivity. unfortunately pirooz passed away at 10 month old, there only 12 static cheetah alive in Iran. side note: when I was translating this part I break down in tears because at the time of recording the music pirooz was still alive )😢😢😢😢 for the sake of condemned innocent dogs🎶 ( in recent years in Iran having dog as a house pet or owning it in general has been banned, even street dogs are killed by acid injection because Iranian government believes owning a dog as pet which is an untouchable animal represent western culture ) for the sake of constant crying🎶 (due to current situation in Iran ) because of repeat of this image at that moment 🎶( refers to watching the moment of Ukrainian airplane getting shot down by Iranian regime by father of one of the victims over and Every verse of this song tells a story, like the part you read about flight PS752 that the Islamic regime shot down for no reason killing 176 innocent souls including children. Speaking of innocent children, all those happy dancing girls sprinkled throughout the video were murdered by the regime, killed either on the streets or in custody and then covered up by claiming they committed suicide or died of natural causes.
