Dude I'm in the same boat omg! And idk what to do. I made a phone call to my crush today to try and make up for the previous awkward moments because she actually even came to see me at work, and omg I was so awkward over the phone because I was so shy. Hey I get where you're coming from. I think if you take small steps towards starting a conversation it might help ease your anxiety over time.

I'm 36 and I swear the TWO times I have spoken to him, I feel like I sounded like a whole shuddering mess. I also told him (a 23 yr old grown ma) that he's cute. He smiled and everything, but I haven't been able to speak to him since. We just pass each throughout the store (my job) kinda look at each other but never really speak. He does, however speak to EVERYONE ELSE at but me and it drives me insane😓

Im 27 and still act like a teenage school girl around guys im attracted too. Its very annoying because I cant control my anxiety around him. I wish I was more confident 😢 Im also horrible at flirting because I feel I'm going to make the dude uncomfortable. So I don't bother showing interest.

Hey I get where you're coming from. It can be tough sometimes to interact with someone you are interested in. I think at the end of the day, most people have the same desires when interacting, they want to feel understood and heard. Whenever you talk to a guy you like, just remember that deep down that's what hes looking for.

Once you get to know them it’s also a good thing to tease them. It’s easier to start up a conversation from that or even messing around.

Hey and advice, she walks alone during a passing period and I recently talked to her until she got to her class but it was pretty awkward. Hey i think in a situation like that if you want to develop what the two of you have, you're going to have to start putting each other before everyone else. Think about how good both and and that person will feel when you're able to comfortably be yourselves in public rather than allowing the opinion of others to force you to act differently. Other people may make comments and spread gossip or even tease you, but at the end of the day it's you two that are building something and that's going to be much stronger than someone else's 5 minute opinion before they get bored and think about something else.

Can you make a video on why girls completely ignore short guys as a dating option like me and some of my friends? I asked some of my female friends and they say they just like guys who are taller (which I get) but even short girls go right for the tall guys. So me and my friends feel like we shouldn't even try any more, and we are just finishing middle school so we still have time but nobody has ever had a crush on me so I've given up until high school or longer any advice would really help. Hey I hear you on that, I think a lot of times girls like taller guys because they feel like they can offer more physical comfort because of their height in some ways. The thing is, a shorter guy can do all the same, but there's a perception in society that that's what we should value. I think as you get older, you'll start to see that girls will develop their interests more and be focused less on height and more on personality, comfort and confidence with a guy. Hey it sounds like you left it up to her to do the follow up. If you really like her you should ask her for her number or better yet, create an on the spot date and just invite her to go out with you to grab food in that moment.

I’m afraid of his asking me “why”. Sometimes when I know what to say and it’s the perfect time to say it, I don’t. One example: one time we were walking back to the locker rooms. I was walking next to him and his friends weren’t there. I wanted to ask what he got on the mile but I didn’t because I was afraid he was gonna ask me why. 😕

There is this girl I work with and she's my sisters friend. I'm 17 and she's 18 and I feel like she had a crush on me like 3 months ago because she would go to the part of the job im working at and just hangout with me but its hard for me to talk to her because I'm shy and I don't wanna say the wrong thing. And after about 3 weeks of me working there I went into the back room at my work to get something and she comes in behind me a few seconds after I went in and we have like a minute conversation. She asked me what my favorite color was and I was like I don't really have a favorite color so I told here that and she said pick a color. And I was like for what. She's said for some sunglasses thats at my work and I said surprise me and she randomly grabs a green pair. I broke my nose a few years ago so its uncomfortable to wear them like normal so I wear them upside down. She puts hers upside down too and she smiles. So I smiled back and she said let's take a picture and I said ok. I was like she likes me and it made me happy because I really liked her. We talked every once in a while because we have different work schedules and I see her like 2 times a month. And now she looks at me and then looks away without saying anything. What do you think I should do?

Hey it's hard to say. If she told you she's not into dating she may want to get to know you better and develop a friendship first if anything. I would work on forming a closer connection with her, learn about her interests and hobbies and share your own with her. Eventually she may come around and be open to a date or if you see it's not leading to that, you can choose to pursue a friendship or just let her be.

Hey I think if there's a chance she may leave, it's best to go for it now. Don't think in terms of having a long relationship, just live in the moment and see if she's open to dating, hanging out and getting to know each other. If there's no pressure and things are just about having fun together, it might make it easier if she does eventually move.

In my situation I just don’t ever want him to find out that I like him. He certainly wouldn’t be attracted to me being a guy and all so my whole goal is to make it less obvious. I would prefer that he not view me as the weird guy who stares too much.
