Hey I'm actually married. I'm speaking about the challenges that occur more broadly with dating apps, not my personal experience with them.
I did those things and now I have a phone
So, my crush and me both like eachother but... we're not dating yet. And this year, we're not in the same class. And there's my best friend she talks to him a lot. Like A LOT. And, I can't help it but feel jealous. I just don't want to lose him. He's one of the person who I really trust..

I always had a feeling deep down that there was way more to it than confidence. There is such a thing as OVERconfidence, such as "If I say/do X to 100 people, 98 of them may turn me down, but 2 just might click with me." Well, most who try won't even get ONE! Most of it is factors beyond the person's control, that no amount of confidence can change.
I have never talked to this guy but the first time I saw him I felt a deep attraction towards him and he found out that I like him and I dont know how to just start talking to him sins he doesnt know me and now its weird and embaresing wen ever I walk past him ,wat should I do I dont want to be rejected?
Sometimes dating somebody the same age isn’t an option Like most of the times guys/girls whoever your attracted to are often immature and childish when your younger And when your younger sometimes you’d rather just wanna be with somebody who’s more mature then being a complete mess When your a younger person like 18-19 going in your 20s you’d rather be with somebody older because most guys/girls sometimes aren’t mature enough as you want them to be or you just fall for people who’s older because your so easy to fall in love and that’s ok I don’t like dating guys younger because they don’t fully respect woman and can’t respect me as a person and aren’t fully mature enough for me to be with and I tend to fall just for whoever regardless the age like 20-30 for me it’s just the appeal and the attraction and that they have manners
Simp behavior right here. She was just making that excuse because she didn’t expect you to fit her crazy criteria. However, if it wasn’t an excuse, that’s even worse, it was an ick. If it was an ick, that’s beyond major red flag 🚩. That shows she wants to dictate your life, from the way you dress to the way you conduct yourself. Also, I saw in the comments, why hang out with her after that? You were just validating her behavior.
I'm not sure exactly how this is simp behavior. I don't buckle under a little criticism, nor do I let my ego lead me to make brash decisions to avoid feeling hurt. I would agree that it was an ick for her, but it clearly wasn't enough for her to be turned off from the idea of hanging out with me again. Sometimes, you do something that turns someone off. Granted, her way of handling it was a little brash, but then again, that's what negging is all about.
This feels very slanted toward anti-man. Claiming the guy was ‘obsessed’ and ‘intimidated’ by her body count just makes him look like a petty human. You leave out key details. Was there relationship monogamous? Was she just increasing her body count and he felt to do the same? Body count is a major red flag for me that shows attention seeking behavior, narcissism, toxic femininity, and lack of trust.
Hey, this short is part of a longer video on the topic but from what I remember they were monogamous. He didn't want to settle down though because he felt like he wasn't experienced enough compared to her. She wanted to be exclusive but was open to the idea of him trying to get with other girls if it was a matter of him feeling like he needed to get it out of his system. You mentioned that body count is a sign of toxic femininity. Do you think that men who pursue a high body count are also demonstrating toxic femininity? Or toxic masculinity? Or do you come up with some weird reason to hold a double standard here? I don't think I said anything that was anti-man though. Men can be insecure as can women. Identifying how and when a men is being insecure is not anti-man.
this didnt really help me much but its cool that this guy is trying. ive been with my boyfriend for 1.5 years and it started as just a friendship in middle school. if anybody cares, i just advice you to be honest with them and not to move too quick before you're ready. also, i know theres pressure to be in a relationship but try not to settle. i hope i helped at least some one ♥️

Personal experience and some insights. Most of them are broke and broken people. It's not passion driving them into that business, it's the incapability to make it elsewhere. Many of them have deep rooted trauma to battle, suffer from depression and struggle with trust issues and relations to people since childhood. Then the business itself. They have to attend hundreds of men with all depravities imaginable, the guys tempt them with money, pursue for meet ups and shower them with (shallow) validation all day long. I don't say that's true for all of them, but I would say for the majority of them. It's the opposite of what a trustful and empathic relationship requires. They all can change though, but that takes too much work for many, facing their past and forging out a future of self-love and self-respect. I know many will jump me for saying this, claiming they only do it for fun or to express their sexuality. We all are very good at lying to ourselves.

Dude, don't give up at least on approaching girls in real life. I got my first girlfriend after around a dozen rejections and ~1.5 years of trying. Someone eventually will say yes, especially if you use this time to work on yourself

In college now and thought this one girl liked me got her number every time I talk to her she smiles but conversations are short . She isn't transparent and honest I asked to sit with her at lunch and it's always yeah sometimes or it's possible then let me know and she doesn't I text her but don't get anything back found out she found another guy and I told her how I felt about her just to let her go she said we can be friends. Then finally texted me back after to see how I'm doing but never heard from her after that.

Yeah this video is nonsense. Men don't feel intimidated to match her and beat her body count. It repulses us. Why? Because by her allowing access to so many guys means she A) isn't responsible B) easy which means is more likely to have mental health issues, carry std's C) makes bad decisions D) the thought of so many men being in her is like eating off the plate of a stranger... It's gross. She'll always be comparing, you'll never know if her feelings for the guy are genuine. It's like wearing a condom after it's been worn by loads of men
Also, when a woman's rejection level is low, it means pretty much any guy can have her. Now as we know, things that are hard to find, hard to achieve are more valued over things that are given away so freely. It's simple logic. People with muscle are valued higher than people with fat, why? Because it's easy to Be fat When you buy cheap clothing, you'll not be bothered if it's used in the gym, compared with clothing you spent a lot of money on. Back in the day when movies weren't so freely available, people valued watching movies, now since netflix, we don't appreciate the entertainment like we used to. Just like giving a woman too much attention, too much praise, what happens? It gives her the ick, she'll lose respect and appreciation over a guy that only rewards her when she does something good for him. So it's in human nature to respect what we work hard for and this includes a woman's body count. If we get credit, a new job, we have background checks, why? To make sure we're not a bad investment. Therefore men are responsible for providing for a woman, he will lose everything if she simply changes her mind which is more likely to happen with a woman who doesn't value herself, making it a much greater risk for him. Therefore men should bet women on their past behaviours and women should be more careful who they share their bed with because understand this: men will take it if offered, but in his heart you failed, therefore will never take you seriously...fact! I'm not sure how I'm talking like a simp here. Who am I simping for, and how? I'm not advocating for people to comment on random instagram models pages, I'm encouraging people to not get swept up in the para-social nature of social media, especially when you are following someone because you think they're attractive. But to answer your question, I'm married so no, I don't have a girlfriend. When I was younger I did get friend zoned a lot, mainly because I wasn't confident enough to be vulnerable and expressive with the girls I liked and instead took a more passive and hopeful approach. My hope is to help young guys similar to myself when I was younger who may want to build their confidence more. If that somehow reads as "simp behavior" to you, I'm open to hearing your reasoning but I imagine there isn't much there.
