Question: If you're eating oysters, do you need to eat liver too?
And I think oysters are more reliably a source of zinc relative to copper and relative to liver. And liver is much more consistently a source of copper relative to zinc and relative to oysters. And so I stand by what I said in terms of taking into account the variation in different species of oyster, in different oceans and different batches of oyster products, but Oystermax does batch testing.

Sometimes liver tastes great to me and sometimes it tastes gross; so I assume my body has enough of one of the liver nutrients and doesn't need it that day or week. Chris, What are your thoughts on liver and vitamin A toxicity? Some internet voices are leaning in the direction of avoiding liver for this reason.

avoid conventional liver. In mass animal producion they supplement megadoses vitamins. I got signs of vitamin a toxicity from 100g beef liver (itching head)... never happend from the Farmers I know

@@DezentKeck True. That is why I only buy 100% grassfed beef from a farmer using regenerative methods. Even so, sometimes my body says "Yuck." I was eating 1 oz (28g) per day. I would like to know Chris' perspective on liver and Vit A toxicity.
