You give very detailed and excellent advice. I've had my locs for 20 years and as soon as i cut out sugar and ate more vegetables i stopped suffering from dandruff.

So I noticed you mentioned what to do if you have dandruff BEFORE getting locs, but what about if you already have locs and experiencing this. You mentioned sea breeze or witch hazel. Can I use that with locs

I work out a lot, sweat in my scalp which causes it to flake. Sugar isn't the issue. I knew going in that I would have to wash my hair weekly.

Yea some people just need the weekly wash and that's okay!
This was my biggest concern with starting my two strand twists. I’ve always struggled with dandruff and dry scalp. I’ve seen a dermatologist and they prescribed ketoconazole shampoo. Can I still use that for my washes?

Yes, and you should! 🙌🏾 you can also try head and shoulders and see if it works for you

I have a question, Is it a good idea to get locs with a lil damage in your hair or should you cut the damage first?
