    If you can't find someone to lend you $$$$ try this.1st thing. Go to your city's social work location and apply for emergency food stamps and find the location of any local shelters where you can sleep. That puts 200$ of food in your pocket and you've a place to stay. Ask for bus tickets if you have no transportation. Immediately take that EBT food stamp card outside. There should be a dealer outside that can register you for a free gov. phone. Then go get online for free at your local library. Phone service may also be available via Skype I believe. In my city there are churches that feed homeless folks every day. Don't be ashamed to ask for help. Lots of people take gov loans .

    Good advice. And thanks for reminding me that I have never been forced to go without a meal or sleep without a roof over my head - this kind of thing is outside my experience. I've been broke, but I've never gone hungry. It's hard to build a business if you aren't eating. I'd like to think that programs that you describe above exist everywhere in the country, but I doubt that is the case. To be truly great as a country, we need to take care of those who are most at risk and least able to help themselves. Compassion wins in the end.

    That's the problem, right? It's going to take time to develop your skill. Of course, if I had to start from scratch again, I was going with the assumption that I did not lose my knowedge and abilities. That is the beauty of learning a skill that is evergreen - it can serve you the rest of your life - despite your circumstances.

    I had no money, poor credit and an awful marriage that I needed to get away from. So, I went to Cdl school and learned to drive a semi tractor -trailer. THATS what I did!

    My life the last 20 years! Always starting over, but can't get ahead, cause I'm broke. Now the story going to be harder, cause I'm in my 40s😩. Can't get by as easily as before, when older there is a need for money.

    I feel your pain. It happened to me when I was 32, lost everything. I wouldn't want to have to do it again... but sometimes you have no choice. I wish you the best as you get back on your feet. Hang in there.

    lol - I've felt that way too. My first reaction when things go wrong is always to feel sorry for myself. Then, I eventually get back on my feet and give it another try. I make an effort to take my eyes off myself and try to figure out how I can help someone else. That is what it means to live and learn and grow.

    Buying and selling requires at times a license, financial backing, or at least having capital. Also, things are not that easy as some say it is. If it was most of us would be financially free or rich. This video totally lost me... 🤷🏽‍♂️

  • @joseph4176

    @joseph4176

    I understand why you think that way. The common wisdom is that it takes money to make money, but my philosophy and practice says "If you can't make money with no money, you probably can't make money with money." The reason people are not financially free is because they don't implement - they don't take action on the ideas that people who have been there are trying to teach. If what I'm teaching is confusing you, it's okay to ask a question. Also, I never said it was easy, but it is pretty simple if you are willing to do the work.

    @@chgofirefighter Getting in shape physically is simple too, but not everyone - myself included - is in great shape. Taking action on what you know is often the most difficult part. Once you take action, you start to see results. This is how it works for building a business as well... and investing in real estate IS a business building process.
